The apartment allows you to feel the emotion of living in a 17th century house completely restructured. The apartment has been redecorated with great care maintaining anyway the original charm: the walls have been treated, according to the Venetian tradition, with an exceptional mineral stucco of great effect and the tall ceiling is made of wooden beams. Elegantly furnished, it is located on the first floor off the street level (would be the second floor in the USA - no elevator) and houses a double sofa bed (200x140cm) and a lovely dining area. Above one corner of the room is a mezzanine (h 130cm) with a full size bed (190x160 cm). Under the loft a wide bathroom with shower and washing machine. Satellite TV, air conditioning, a big safety box and well equipped kitchen (with dish washer machine, microwave oven, coffee machine) completes the main facilities. The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to four persons, feeling at home away from home.

You are in the heart of the Roman Baroque, definitely. Not only baroque: around each corner you find many traces of the ancient Rome. This 45sqm apartment is just 30 mt from Piazza Navona, the ancient Domitian Stadium, whose elliptic geometry makes the area one of the most amazing and exciting places in Rome, enriched by masterpieces from Bernini, Borromini, Giacomo Della Porta, some of the greatest Baroque Maestri. The apartment is also very close (20 mt) to the Church of Santa Maria della Pace with its Cloister designed by Bramante. From this strategic place, in only two minutes walk, you can get other extraordinary and famous places as the Pantheon, Castel Sant’Angelo, Campo de Fiori and a lot of monumental Churches. Within easy walking distance many other as the Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi, Torre Argentina, Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo and (less than 2 Km far) St. Peter’s Basilica, Coliseum and the Imperial Forums.

How to get the apartment: How to get the flat without catching a taxi:----- FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT: Take the no-stop train “Leonardo Express” to Termini railway station, which leaves the Airport from 6:36 a.m. to 23:36 p.m. every 30 min. ----- FROM CIAMPINO AIRPORT: Take the bus connection to Termini Railway Station------ FROM TERMINI RAILWAY STATION bus N64 (getting out at Corso-Vittorio-Emanuele/Navona stop).

Surrounding Area: In the apartment area you find a lot of antique shops (e.g. in Via dei Coronari), restaurants, historical outdoors cafes (e.g Bar della Pace), pubs and wine shops open up to late night. This area is very well connected by public transport. Close to Piazza Navona (from Corso Rinascimento, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo di Torre Argentina and Piazza Venezia) you can catch the following bus lines going or passing close to many touristic places. Before getting a bus please check its tour since it could undergo changes. Just outside the apartment, within 10 mt, you may find many shops: greengrocer, delicatessen, grocer’s, mini-market, butcher’s, news agent, tobacconist’s. We had a great time in Rome, staying at the studio apartment at Via Della Pace. The apartment is convenient, and of course it is clean, well equipped and everything one would expect. The location of the apartment means that you can walk to everything. Living in the old, central streets of ancient Rome, is an experience in itself.

A very comfortable apartment, fantastic location right by the Piazza Navona. This couldnt be more convenient for all the sights, but at night time it was very quiet and peaceful. The owner was very friendly and helpful - we could not fault it!

This property was set in a beautiful area a stones throw from Piazza Navona, possibly the liveliest area in Rome, but within easy walking distance of all other main attractions. The apartment was immaculately clean, well stocked with everything one could possibly need. The owner was attentive and explained everything carefully and clearly, a very nice gentleman with a charming wife and beautiful little boy. The apartment was positioned over a restaurant and we ate there on a couple of occasions, the food was good and reasonably priced. All in all not my first visit, but by far the best accommodation I've stayed in. Small but good.

Fantastic Apartment

Studio della Pace is charming and has everything you could need. The apartment was beautifully presented and very clean. It is very conveniently located on a side street of Piazza Navona (a fantastic square that has a real buzz about it) which makes all the sights of Rome easily accessible. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Wir hatten 4 wundervolle Tage in einem strategisch äußerst praktisch gelegenen Appartment. Es ist komfortabel eingerichtet mit italienischem Flair und Schick! Dank des sympathischen, sehr gastfreundlichen Vermieters konnten wir Rom auch rom-like erleben, haben gegessen wo die Römer essen und nicht die Touristen...haben gekauft wo die Römer kaufen...Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder!
