The nearby village of Gavaudun has an impressive fortified chateau, a café for early morning coffee, and a restaurant. Within 15 minutes drive are Monflanquin, Villereal and Fumel each with a weekly market and a wide choice of shops and restaurants. The area has many historic places of interest, fortified bastide villages with quaint houses, and of course vineyards with ample opportunity to sample the wines they produce. There is a children's jungle park at La Capelle Biron and horse riding at Vergt de Biron, both 10-15 minutes away. Canoeing on the Dordogne River and an 18-hole golf course are within easy reach. This is the ideal villa for a family holiday in south west France. Gavaudan village 5 min. Monflanquin, Villereal and Fumel 15 min. Bergerac (airport) 45 mins. Bordeaux and Toulouse (airports) 2 hours. Golf 20 min.
