Luxury villa - Le Patronnage is an elegant 19th century Maison de Maitre in the heart of the lively wine-producing village of Olonzac in the Minervois region of Languedoc-Rousillon. The house is beautifully restored and luxuriously furnished with many period peices. The original barn now houses a heated indoor pool and has a wonderful roof terrace with beautiful views towards the village church and beyond. This luxury villa has a large Mediterranean courtyard garden offering privacy and seclusion yet is just 2 minutes walk from the lively village centre, with a great weekly market, shops, bars, restaurants and numerous festivals and events held both in summer and winter. The village park has 3 tennis courts.

Set against the backdrop of the Montagne Noir, this is a region of Cathar castles, abbeys, wild gorges and medieval villages. The walled city of Carcasonne has fantastic festivals celebrating its history throughout the summer. A cruise on the Canal du Midi is a wonderful way to see the countryside surrounding this luxury villa. Nearby Lac de Jouarrés offers many watersports, or of course the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean and the towns of Perpignan and Montpellier are within an hour of this luxury villa. 200 m from the centre of Olonzac with shops and restaurants. Carcasonne 25 min. Toulouse, Perpignan, Montpellier & Spanish border 1 hour. Nearest beach 40 min. Canal du Midi 2 min. Lac de Jouarrés 2 min.
