South west France farmhouse set in beautiful countryside in a secluded spot at the end of a woodland track, Beau Site is a wonderful place to relax and unwind in a tranquil environment. Built of local Quercy stone, the house retains all its character and charm in the old beams, stone floors and large open fireplace. Play a spot of tennis on the private, hard surface tennis court, cool off in the large swimming pool, then enjoy lunch and a bottle of hearty Cahors wine on the terrace overlooking the countryside surrounding this south west France farmhouse. This area is known as the Quercy Blanc, characterised by the white stone farmhouses, pigeonniers and villages dotted across the landscape. It is an agricultural region and so the local markets are excellent, selling wonderful fresh produce. Nearby Lauzerte dominates the landscape and provides magnificent panoramic views from its ramparts. Today it is a lively village with shops, restaurants and weekly market selling local produce.
