Villa Freddana - Lucca villa

Italian luxury villa - built in 1600, this is a restored convent now offered as luxurious rental accommodation. The villa Freddana sits in the hills near Lucca with stunning views of the La Freddana valley below. The building has been sympathetically restored with great care and attention to detail so as retain the historic and atmospheric feel of this special house. The bedrooms are all equally proportioned and decorated, making this a superb villa for large parties. Most bedrooms offer stunning views. This italian villa has been decorated in the traditional Tuscan style, with warm colours and antique wooden furniture. Polished wooden and terracotta floors flow throughout the property. The large living room and kitchen offer ample space, with superb views from the living room bay windows. The kitchen (originally the lemon house) is spacious and full of character.

The owners live in the adjacent wing. Their terrace abuts the exit from the kitchen, limiting complete privacy. Pool access passes in front of their terrace. The swimming pool is on a lower level, again with wonderful views of the valley and the local church. Pool house with shower and WC. A private church sits in the grounds, which is consecrated for religious ceremonies. Villa Freddana is well established for wedding parties.
