Recently renovated, spacious Breton farmhouse set in peaceful hamlet.
Our self catering property is a very spacious, old farmhouse, retaining many original features. The living room's focal point is a fireplace with a large stove, which adds character and cosiness to the room. There are several comfy settees for relaxing indoors and the television is here. The kitchen and adjoining dining room are well equipped, with a large table, bench and chairs for social eating. You will also find a pool table in here for indoor entertainment. The four bedrooms and bathroom are all upstairs in the eaves with a wealth of beams. The majority of the rooms have original wooden floors. Outside you will find rambling gardens with plenty of privacy. There are a variety of fruit and nut trees offering shade on hot days. You will find tables and chairs, sun loungers and a barbeque for outdoor living. There are bicycles available for use at your own risk. The sunsets are not to be missed. The house is ideal for either families or groups of adults.

Beauval is situated just 15 minutes from Josselin and the N24 main road through Brittany. It is halfway between the small towns of Brehan and Rohan (both about 5mins), both of which have excellent shops and bakers for those fresh croissants for breakfast. Rohan is on the Nantes-Brest Canal, with excellent canal side walks. Josselin is a beautiful small town, full of character with a magnificent Chateau. The restaurants are excellent and there are markets on Thursday and Saturday mornings. Vannes on the south coast is well worth a visit, the marina, city walls, boutiques and sea food restaurants are a must. Quiberon is fantastic for surfing, sightseeing, walking, cycling, scuba diving, wind and sand surfing. The beaches are great for those of you who are less energetic! Rochefort en Terre is a particularly beautiful small town about 1 hour away. Ploermel has a large man made lake with lots of water sports. Carnac has the mythical standing stones, another must see site in Brittany.
