All around the area, there are every kinds of service,taxi-boat,public-motorboat,gondola-service, shops,bars,resturants,pharmacy,souvenirs,fashion,jewellery, internet points,...and many others. This is the area where the venetian people live, and where the do them shopping.Few step away(2-3 minutes walking) from the apartment GRAN CANAL you cand find the Rialto Bridge and the Gran Canal (The movie : Casino' Royale with James Bond was made here.) where are all the gondoliere singhing the venetian songs. From the apartment GRAN CANAL to get to S.Marco Square takes about 10 minutes walking,....but if will look all the shops, the churchs, the museums, the monumentes, the little canals, the gondola, around you, will takes much longer to get there.!!!
