Lovely Apartment Dinastia

We stopped at the apartment between 8th and 22nd August 2008. The apartment is situated on the 0 floor which when you look from the road is on the first floor. To get to it there is either a lift or a short steep slope. Firstly booking the accomodation was a doddle, good comms throughout from the owner and the keys were sent well in advance. Upon arrival all directions were accurate and easy to follow. The apartment is freshly decorated in neutral colours and the minimal furniture is modern and practical. Good sized rooms with everything you need and a lovely en-suite with a jacuzzi bath. The kitchen has everthing you need including good sized fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, sandwich toaster, oven and hob as well as a good range of utensils and crockery . There is a handy safety deposit box and a good sized balcony although we felt let down slightly that the view was of a busy road and apartments opposite. There was also a nice outdoor table/chairs and 2 sun loungers. The cushion covers were somewhat grubby though. We all slept well however on comfey beds and the linen/towels were changed once during our 2 week stay. Added to this there is a washing machine and also an airer outside anyway. The apartment was very clean on our arrival and reasonably maintained,.
The complex although larger than we expected was not overcrowded and as a lovely clean swimming pool as well as a kiddies pool and there were plenty of sun loungers available all day (1.5 euro a day hire charge each) there was also a nice pool bar for snacks and drinks on the complex too. The complex was lovely and clean and suits young families and there are supermarkets an shops within 200 yards. I would add that we heard no noise at night.
The resort we felt was very English, numerous bars and restaurants as well as the normal holiday tat shops and the beach was no more than a 10 min walk down a hill, can be tiring walking back up although numerous taxis available (not that we used one)
The airport is only a 20 min drive away and cost us approx 25 euros.
There are 2 beaches, one very sandy and has good facilities some 15/20 mins walk and the closer beach was more stoney approx 10/15 mins.
All in all we have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone wishing a good quality apartment complex close to all amenities.
Owner's Response: Following feedback received on the sunbed cushions - please be advised that since the comments were logged they have been cleaned. It is difficult to ensure that these are splotless as they are an outdoor item and not all guests tend to use a towel when using them.
