Notes to the rental rates

• Rates quoted include air conditioning and heating! We accept payment in either Euros or British Pounds (please email owner for exact amount in British Pounds) Please note rates quoted are for a max occupancy of no more than 4 people. In certain circumstances we will consider 1 additional guest, however a extra payment will be required. A deposit of 30% is payable at time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining 70% balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. Payment is by bank transfer or cheque. Payment must be cleared before we can confirm your reservation. Please note the deposit is non-refundable, we strongly recommend that you take out travel/personal insurance, once the balance of your holiday has been paid we cannot refund due to cancellation. We reserve the right to refuse the rental at our own discretion. Please note by paying your deposit you are agreeing to our terms and conditions as stated.
  
• Vila da Praia is suited to families, couples and golfers with a maximum occupancy of four people. Any changes to guest details must be notified to and agreed by owners prior to departure. Additional guests are not allowed without owners consent
  
• If you require transfers from and to Faro airport we can help, you will be required to pay locally for this.You will be greeted locally by our representative and shown to the apartment. Note: booking details will be confirmed. Max. occupancy is 4 people, additional guests are not allowed unless specifically agreed by owners in advance.
  Please provide us with your flight details once your booking is confirmed.
  Check-in is after 14.00 hrs on day of arrival, check-out is before 10.00am on day of departure. Other arrangements can be made if no other guests are arriving or departing the same day.

Alvors beautiful 4.5m stretch of golden sandy beach which has an EU Blue Flag for safety award, is only 300 metres away. There are some fantastic rock formations and coves to be found. The centre of Alvor is just a five minute walk away. There is a huge selection of bars and restaurants to choose from some with live music. Alvor attracts families, couples and golfers. Evening time in Alvor offers a romantic atmosphere that couples will enjoy. The Portuguese people are family orientated, children are always most welcome in restaurants. The local food store offers a variety of food products. If you require a larger supermarket try 'Continente' in Portimao, it's just a short taxi ride away. CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSES IN ALVOR, ALGARVE

The Algarve is a magnet for golfers, Alvor has a number of championship golf courses within easy reach. There is a Championship course at Penina. There are also courses at Alto and Gramacho which are approximately a five min drive away. The area also offers at least another 25 top class courses which are just under an hours drive away.

ACTIVITIES AND RELAXATION

There are a variety of excursions which can be booked locally. These include deep sea fishing and day cruises which take in the beauty of the coast line plus the opportunity to see dolphins swimming in the wild. Some of these cruises stop off at secluded coves and provide tasty barbecued food. There are also water parks and theme parks which provide entertainment for the whole family.
