Our recently built semi detached self contained apartment with stunning views is ideal for that get away holiday, and only 5 min walk from the beach and old town. Situated on a sunny hillside the garden bordered on one side by olive terraces and the local railway line. The apartment has 2 terraces looking towards the mountains.A footpath and quiet road lead to the palm fringed promenade, picturesque marina and large family beach. The property was completed in 2003 and is furnished in a clean contemporary style.

The apartment is a private unit offering light and airy accommodation. The entrance area provides a shady afternoon area which leads on to the main terrace with picnic bench style eating area and loungers. The terrace overlooks the mountains and has a sun awning. Double doors lead into this elegantly furnished apartment with settee and armchairs . A fully equipped kitchen offers double oven and 4 ring hob, washing machine and microwave. Folding wooden doors open into the dining room. The bathroom comprises shower,wc, and basin. A staircase leads off of the lounge area giving access to the mezzanine area which has a double futon with restricted headroom. From the kitchen there are doors to the second shower/wc, bedroom 1 with double bed and French doors leading onto a private terrace with views to the mountains, bedroom 2 with 2 single beds and stairs leading to mezanine [restricted headroom] with 2 further single beds. Banyuls enjoys an exceptionally sheltered position in which plants and relaxed holiday makers flourish. It lies at the southern end of the cote vermille, 20 kms south of Perignan and 10 kms north of the Spanish border. The charming town is a treasure trove of delights; gastronomic, and visual. The surrounding hills a paradise for walkers. The wide bay and seafront offer a discrete setting for shops, bars, cafes and restaurants clustering around the town beach. Diving centres abound giving those that wish the opportunity to explore the marine life of the clear warm waters of the Mediterranean. Banyuls is famous for its wine and has a festival each year on the beach in October.There are several wine caves happy to oblige your palate. Barcelona is within easy reach as are the local ski resorts and mountain both about 2 hours away.
