A perfect family holiday apartment.

From start to finish, our holiday was made simple. We paid our deposit 6 months in advance to the owner, planned the flights and paid the remainder 6 weeks before we left. All the information was provided by email and a couple of phone calls to the owner made, which made our lives so much easier, especially being a party of 7!
Having arrived at Malaga airport, we caught the train to Fuengirola (2 Euros each) which was a 40 minute trip. Almost directly outside the station was the bus terminal, where we caught the 220 bus to the Mira Flores (opposite Le Oceano) 2 stops on from La Carla (1.87 euros each) All in all a simple and smooth trip with limited cost to us as a big family. (Taxis being 60 + each way)
Access to the complex has to be via Jimmys Bar which is down a flight of stairs and into the bar and pool area.
The complex was wonderful, with its own double pool and bar (check out Google Earth) which made evenings in much more enjoyable, as the kids could swim late!
The apartment was huge, with spacious bedrooms, plenty of wardrobe space and storage for suit cases . 2 large balconies over looking the Med (including master bedroom and one other) the remainder looking over the bar and swimming pool. Air Con! which was a must on the hottest of days and every necessity required in the kitchen for self catering.
The local supermarket and Pharmacy, which was towards Calahonda (10-15 minute walk) provided everything we needed, from Corn Flakes to making home made Paella. The shop satff were very helpful and allowed us to explore our Spainish dishes with ease.
The Beach was a 10 minute walk via a tunnel, which provided us with plenty to do with Jet skiing, pedalos and banana rides. Prices were a little more than i wanted to pay, but a little less than Marbella.
The Buses were cheap (1.87 Euros each from Fuengirola) every half hour just a few minutes walk from the complex. 40 mins to Marbella and 20 mins to Fuengirola) The nearest town La Carla was a 20 minute walk straight down the road, with a market on Wednesday. (very busy, take a drink with you!)
To summarise, wonderful, accommodating, spacious and every part a holiday, from the shopping to the swimming.
A big thank you to the owners. We hope others enjoy it as much as we did.
