Recently refurbished to a high standard, this spacious 5 bed, 3 bathroom villa set in a quiet cul de sac in the popular area of Praia da Luz offers comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 10-12 people. It has a superb swimming pool (11m x 6.5m) surrounded by an extensive sun terrace with lawn & flower beds. Also an outdoor kitchen with a built in BBQ, sun loungers, awnings & dining facilities. 1st floor level comprises of a large twin bedroom with fully fitted ensuite bathroom & double doors leading out to a terraced area with sea views. There are 3 further twin bedrooms & 1 double bedroom with ensuite located at g/floor level. All bedrooms have ample storage. There is a further bathroom leading off the spacious hallway. The lounge/dining area is furnished with table & chairs, 3 large settees, including a 42 in plasma TV with DVD, CD, Radio & Satellite receiver. The modern kitchen incorporates a gas electric cooker, d/washer, w/machine, microwave & other small appliances.

This resort is renowned for offering fine dining & evening entertainment for families & couples. There are also local supermarkets, banks, cinema & 24hr medical facilities. A short drive will take you into the heart of Lagos where you can explore the old town or the new modern harbour boasting of international cuisine, shops, bars & markets retailing local home grown produce. Lagos harbour offers several excursions such as discovery, dolphin & grotto cruises, deep sea fishing & an array of water sports. Other attractions near Praia da Luz include water parks, Zoo's, horse riding, tennis & fabulous golf courses such as the Boavista (8min), Palmares (10min), Parque da floresta (15min), Penina (20min). Trips to the west coast for surf lovers is a must, for the countryside lovers a relaxing walk in the Monchique mountains or visit the end of the world at Cape st Vincent.

Nice Villa - Nice Stay

As to the fact that my english is not that good, I already wrote a german review for the villa, but I try to do it in english as well so that everyone can understand it.
We were 10people all at the age of 19 years who booked the villa this summer. We really enjoyed our stay in Portugal and are happy to be able to recommend the villa, now.
The villa is absolutly big enough for its recommended number of 10 guests and its invetory is very up to date.
The owners are very likeable and will help you with any problems you may have.
The only thing that was a bit annoying is the fact that we had no car (because we arent 21 years old), so that we had to walk the 1.5 miles to the beach/city each day. Anyway, it was ok for us and so after 8 fine days in Portugal, we can tell you, the villa is great, the owners are nice, your stay will be excellent.

Nice pool!

We are two families totalling 10 and stayed in summer 2009. The villa was good value for money and spacious enough for our party. The pool is very well maintained and a good size. You do need a car ideally as the shops and beach are quite a long walk away especially if you have got children. We were a bit disappointed by the kitchen because the equipment was basic when there's 10 people to cook for, for example the oven was was on it's last legs, and the fridge too which was iced up and on all the time despite our efforts to defrost. The towels provided are size small so you might want to take a few of your own. The property is a bit dated in parts but for a week this didn't affect our enjoyment of Luz which is a lovely town so altogether we'd recommend it if you are happy with basic accommodation in a good area.
Owner's Response: We would like to reassure all renters that the villa is maintained to a very high standard on a yearly basis both internal and external. The villa is fully equipped to cater for 12 people with all appliances (approx. 3 years old) in good condition and in good working order. Please review at our photos which bear testimony to this.
As stated on the website, the journey to the beach is a 15-20 minute walk and a car is recommended, especially for sight seeing etc. in order to enjoy your holiday to its fullest.
Having had over 200 people stay at our villa in the short time we have been renting we are pleased to advise that we have only received complimentary reviews of the accommodation and amenities provided, including the fabulous pool. We do listen to feedback and have noted the commment regarding the towels and we have addressed this issue.

Wir waren mit 10 Jugendlichen im Sommer 2009 da und können die Villa absolut weiterempfehlen. Platz war auf jeden Fall genug da, schön eingerichtet ist sie außerdem und der Pool ist wirklich der Wahnsinn, sehr groß und mit Schwimmer und Nichtschwimmer Bereicht.
Die Vermieter sind auch sehr freundlich und helfen gerne bei evtl. Fragen.
Das einzige Manko ist, dass man etwas Fußmarsch auf sich nehmen muss, wenn man ins Dorf oder an den Strand möchte. Da wir noch keine 21 sind, mussten wir so pro Weg gut 2km zu Fuß zurücklegen, was uns aber nicht großartig gestört hat.
Wie gesagt, wir können die Villa nur empfehlen.
