Find the Peace and Charm of Provence here...

Born and raised in Provence, but now living in the United States, my husband wanted to stay at a house that would feel like home. We were traveling with our two children (ages 4 & 2) and knew we would be spending as much time in the home, as out in the villages. It was the perfect location to head out to the markets, gather all the treasures offered there, and return to a home where we could invite friends and family and relax all together in the kitchen, on the terrace or by the pool. My husband is a chef, and he found everything he needed in the kitchen. This home has every amenity you would need and is very tastefully decorated. There were not excessive knick-knacks placed all over the home where we feared our children would break something everytime we turned our heads. Simple elegance and charm, the perfect retreat when you are looking to spend time together as a family with little stress and much relaxation. The pool is large and well maintained, with the steps crossing the entire length from end to end...good for the children and for sitting and reading while cooling off! The surrounding gardens are beautiful, enormous lavendar plants and flowers border the yard where our children could play safely with no worries about them heading out to the road. The Bastidon du Murier is tucked away amongst the vineyards, and it is very rare to hear a car drive by during the day or night. The rooms inside were neat and clean, and once again simply decorated with refined luxury. To sum it up, if we were ever to look for a home to return to in the future, this is where we would want to be.
