Located in the beautiful village of Frigiliana, which is situated at the foot of the Sierra Almijarra mountains, perfect for relaxing, walking or cycling. The climate making it equally attractive in summer and winter. The apartment, situated in a quiet corner of a secure complex with entrance intercom, lifts, 2 pools, tennis courts and lovely gardens, is 3 mins. from the village square with numerous bars, restaurants and small shops. Nerja, a bustling town full of bars, restaurants and lovely beaches, is a 10 mins. drive, or regular bus service away. The accommodation comprises large lounge/dining area, with HDTV, sat., DVD and CD/ipod player, opening onto a private garden with loungers, dining area and BBQ. The kitchen is fully fitted to a high standard with full size oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a king size and the other with twin beds. Barbara and Chris who live nearby, speak English and Spanish, and can help with any problems.

Frigiliana is a Moorish award wining village situated on the edge of the Sierra Tejeda national park and on the lower slopes of the Almijarra mountains, and is noted for it's whitewashed houses and narrow cobbled streets. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with ample opportunities for walking and cycling, this area is less commercialised than the other side of Malaga. The village is an ideal base to make trips to Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Malaga is a wonderful city with its Roman ruins, shops and large stores, a cathedral, museums and the recently opened Picasso gallery housing an extensive collection of the artists work. Granada, the world famous Alhambra and ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada are only 90 mins. away. The area has the best climate in Europe with over 320 days of sunshine a year. Nerja, the nearest coastal town, is only 6Km. away with it's famous caves, restaurants and miles of beaches and coves.

  • Electricity and water is included in the rental. All linen and towels are provided except beach towels.
    Barbara and Chris will meet you with keys on your arrival and will be on hand during your stay to help with any queries. A refundable cash security deposit of £100 (or equivalent in euro) is required and should be given to Barbara and Chris on arrival.
    A 25% deposit is payable within 7 days of booking, the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
    Arrival time is after 14.00, departure before 10.00 to allow for cleaning.
  • Long term winter rentals are available on request.

We spent a great time in this place and apprtment. The appartment is really good equipped and is situated in the old (intersting) part of the village. It has good opportunities for making trips in both mountain as also different cities. The arrangement is beautiful and we use the pool on several days that we want relax.
Looking forward for a next holiday!

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Frigiliana. The apartment was fantastic - very well equiped and comfortable, and spotlessly clean for our arrival. Barbara was on hand to greet us, and show us where everything was and how it all worked. She was also able to provide lots of useful information about Frigiliana itself and the surrounding area.

Frigiliana itself is stunning and the views from the apartment garden beautiful. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the village and lots more in Nerja. It's well worth taking time to explore Frigiliana, and both Malaga and Granada are within easy reach.

I would recommend this apartment highly.

we have just returned from a wonderful 3 weeks in Frigiliana, the apartment was comfortable ,clean,and very well equiped, it had everything we needed, the garden was great for relaxing and eating out in and it was great for the boys to have an outdoor play area, we all loved the BBQ and had some lovely evenings in the garden.The gardens and pools areas are very well maintained and full of bueatiful flowers and trees it is a pleasure to walk around.The apartment is a perfect position to explore the village.We visited quite alot of the cafes and resturants for snacks , drinks, meals and everyone of them was good , it really is a lovely place to visit, the boys enjoyed the play parks and exploring the village.
Barbara was very friendly and helpful.
We would recommend this property to family and friends.
We would recommend that you have a car as it gives you the freedom to explore further afield.

Comfort, privacy, views, this place has it all and

We had a really great time staying here.
The garden is ideal for sun worshippers or for enjoying that romantic evening meal overlooking the fantastic views towards the sea.
The apartment itself is well equipped and very comfortable.
Thoroughly recommended as a "hot" "chill" out place.

Superb holiday in the sun

Excellent apartment, immaculate and well equipped, in great location. Frigiliana is a beautiful village full of charm and character. The garden was an added bonus with a shaded area and good views. Air conditioning in bedroom would have made it absolutely perfect (we were there during an extremely hot period)
Although walking in and around Frigiliana is a joy, a car is essential for exploring further afield, not to mention trips to larger supermarkets.
We would definitely return after having such an interesting and relaxing holiday
