La Barraca is a beautifully renovated 200 year old finca set in it´s own vineyard and lovely views. It has been exquisitely decorated and has many unique features and antique furniture. It has recently been featured in Spain´s main decor magazine - casa y campo. There is a very large terrace overlooking the garden and large pool. There are many different outside areas to enjoy - either relaxing by the pool, in the cool shade of the terrace or in the separate patio garden which are well equipped with comfortable garden furniture. There is a bread oven and barbeque area. The house offers 3 large double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room. The Living room and Dining room both have wood burners. There is a large private parking area. It is an ideal house for a romantic, holiday for couples of any age, or families wishing for a relaxing break whilst being near to all amenities. La Barraca really is a chance to enjoy the 'real' Spain.

La Barraca is located in the Spanish region of Alicante on the costa Blanca. This popular resort is often referred to as the jewel in the crown of the costa Blanca. The world health organisation named it as having one of the healthiest climate in the world, enjoying more recorded hours of sunshine per year than any other place in Spain. La Barraca is situated between Gata and Jesus Pobre - 2 charming, typically Spanish artisan villages offering local bakers, greengrocers as well as international supermarkets. Gata is also famous for its basket ware. Javea, Denia and Moraira are all nearby - with their wide choice of restaurants, bars and great beaches. The house is on the edge of montgo natural park - thereby providing fantastic scenery and walks. Vergel safari park, Terramitica and Mundomar attractions are all within easy driving distance. There are also several golf courses nearby, water sports, fishing and riding. The wonderful cities of Alicante and Valencia are only 1 hour away.

Notes: La Barraca offers a very large outdoor dining area, seating 8 comfortably. There is also a separate outdoor lounge area with table and chairs. There are 6 teak loungers and additional deckchairs. The pool is a good size with steps for easy access and surrounded by wooden decking. The house and garden are completely secluded with large antique wooden entrance gates. The garden is full of a variety of fruit trees as well as the vineyard and you are welcome to help yourselves to the vegetables and herbs that are growing in the garden! La barraca is a family home and therefore the furnishings are of the highest quality and comfort.
