Lovely ground floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with sunny private terrace in exclusive complex. It has direct access to a beautiful enclosed garden with two communal pools. The pools are surrounded by magnificent palm trees and flowering shrubs making it a haven for sunbathing and swimming. The apartment is in immaculate condition and is fully furnished and fitted to a very high standard. It sleeps 4/6 and is located in a quite secluded area overlooking a charming green tree lined park. Just 1 minutes walk away you will find the main square containing shops, banks, supermarkets and numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. The nearest blue flag sandy beach is only a 500 metre walk away. There are six further blue flag beaches along the magnificent coast line. A superb tree lined promenade connect the beaches making it an ideal and safe place for walkers, joggers and cyclist alike. It is 5 minutes drive from Murcia Airport and 45minutes from Alicante Airport by motorway.

The apartment is in the centre of Los Alcazares 5 minutes drive from Murcia Airport beside the Mediterranean and endless blue flag white sandy beaches. Alicante Airport is approximately 40 minutes by motorway. There are direct low cost flights from many airports in the UK, Ireland and other European destinations. A car is not necessary as you can walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Taxi/airport transfer is available locally. There is an excellent regular bus service to the local towns of Murcia and Cartegena bus stop 100metres from the apartment. Golfers will be delighted that no less than seven golf courses can be found within easy reach. The renowned La Manga golf course which has three championship courses is 20 minutes drive away. The warm calm sea of the Mar Menor is a bathers paradise with the area averaging 320 days sunshine per year. The World Health Organisation recently declared the province of Murcia the cleanest area in Spain. Bars, cafes & restaurants abundance.

Notes: The living/dining room has two comfortable sofas (sofa beds) seating six, a coffee table and a number of occasional tables. It also has a large wall unit and sideboard. There is a tv with sky tv which will enable you to watch all you favourite British channels and dvd player. The dining area contains a table and four chairs. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with fridge freezer, automatic washing machine, oven and ceramic hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, juicer and sandwich maker. It has a large range of cooking utensils. The kitchen has direct access to a beautiful enclosed garden containing adult and children pool. The terrace and small private garden which is located to the front of the apartment and overlooking a park is furnished with a table and four chairs.

My wife and I stayed in this apartment in December 2008. It was a pleasure to wake up to blue skies every day. Colin, the very helpful manager arranged for a taxi to collect us at the airport which was very welcomed as my wife has very bad arthritis and cannot stand for long. The apartment is on the ground floor and was very easy to access. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed being able to watch all our favourite UK channels and few good DVD,s We did not need a car as the shops and restaurants are only a couple of minutes walk away and the bus stop to Murcia and Cartagena is very close by. All in all we had a very restful and enjoyable holiday and will definitely be back.

Relaxing Holiday

We just spent 2 weeks in this apartment and had a great time. It was clean and had everything you need. The complex was lovely and very peaceful yet only a short walk away was a busy street with numerous restaurants and bars.
A car is not essential although we did hire one for our second week to explore a little further afield.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Many thanks for your very kind review. Its good to know that you enjoyed the apartment complex and had everything you needed. Having all the popular restaurants, bars and amenities so close by is a great advantage, no long walking or night taxi rides. Some of the local villages and towns are lovely and are well worth exploring. The local markets are also great fun and great for picking up bargins. The Los Alcazares market is held on Saturday mornings usually 9am-1pm, its also great for stocking up on locally produced fruit and vegetables.

Brenda and I had an 11 week stay in this lovely apartment which served admirably as a home from home.

It had everything required from being well situated (near supermarket , various restaurants and the beautiful beach ) to all the home comforts - comfortable beds and plenty spare linen and blankets etc.

The apartment management could not do enough for us and weather was very kind although it was officially winter - temperatures averaging 60 fahrenheit and very little rain.

We intend going back to Los Alcazares next winter - what more can we say !!!!!

Holiday apartment Los Alcazares

This apartment is in an ideal location, very central for access to all amenities. The apartment is clean and spacious, is well equipped with everything for families including beach towels. We we're well looked after by the management company who met us direct at the car hire and supplied a welcome pack (small charge) well worth it.Another plus is the is the generous storage, no bags lying around. We enjoyed our stay and would be quite happy to return.
