Beautiful gites, each with own private pools & gardens, stunning views

Ideal self catering gites for families, we have a 2 bed gite & 1 bed gite both have their own private pools and gardens. Both gites have their own access and driveways making them completely separate. Recently families have been renting the 2 bed and the grandparents renting the 1 bed, this has worked really well for both parties. The 2 bed gite has swings, games & a sandpit in the garden besides the pool, a large patio area with garden furniture & BBQ. The garden has stunning, uninterrupted views over the Dronne Valley, fabulous sunsets. This gite has been renovated and modernised to a very high standard keeping all the original features. In the living room there is TV/DVD player and huge range of Dvds, the kitchen is fully fitted & equipped (microwave, oven, hob, washing machine), double bedroom, twin bedroom & shower room. The 1 bed gite has its own garden with furniture & pool. The gite has kitchen/lounge/diner, upstairs is a twin bedroom & shower room, TV/DVD player

Beautiful 150 year old farmhouse that has been sympathetically restored and modernised throughout but leaving many original features including the oak beams and original fireplaces. The views over the Dronne Valley are stunning and uninterrupted. The French doors at the back of the property lead down a few steps to the furnished patio area in the property's own private garden, it has its own solar heated swimming pool, swings, games & sand pit. This gite has its own driveway. The property consists of a fully fitted kitchen, it is well equipped (electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine). The living room has a TV/DVD player with a huge range of DVDs on offer, this room is dual aspect. There is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes with views over the garden and valley, the twin bedroom has two beds & wardrobe. The shower room has a shower, WC & large vanity unit. A very comfortable gite a 'real home from home' as one of our previous guests commented.

The gites have spectacular & uninterrupted views of the Dronne Valley, they're in a quiet but very cental location for exploring the area. We are 1.5kms from our village with its excellent bar & restaurant but for a wide variety of shops, bars & restaurants Riberac is just a 10 min drive, it holds one of the biggest markets in the region offering a huge variety of local produce. Perigueux, the 'capital' of the region, is a 20 min drive with its magnificent cathedral, beautiful medieval quarter and sophisticated shops, bars & restaurants. Lake Jemaye (20 mins away) is a clean, safe swimming lake with play areas, restaurants, free canoe hire, great for the whole family. Brantome 'the Venice of Perigord' and many other gorgeous villages are all close by, numerous chateaux, museums, markets waiting to be discovered. The whole area has an abundance of rivers & lakes and so provides a huge variety of sporting activities, walking, cycling, horse riding, swimming, canoeing, climbing.

  • The gite sleeps 4 but a cot can easily be put into the double bedroom without compromising on space. We have had 5 people before with no problem.

We have had a very restful & enjoyable stay in this excellent gite, we would unreservedly recommend Le Noyer for young families who want some space to enjoy & for couples who want to relax - Mr & Mrs Fell, Gloucs

We’ve had a fab time, the gite is delightful, warm & very comfortable. Gary & Tara are wonderful hosts. We’ve enjoyed the peace and tranquillity, we’ve eaten too much and drunk even more & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Love to return - Mr & Mrs Riggs, Hampshire. Ideal base for exploring the region. Those who have not been to the Dordogne before are in for a real treat, Gary & Tara great hosts and provided excellent facilities & surroundings. - Walne family, London.
