Located in the colourful fishing village of Burgau at the edge of the S.W. Natural Parque, this fabulous 4* self-catering villa has private swimming pool & garden, designer interiors, contemporary bathrooms, air conditioning and heating and is a few minutes walk from Burgau village & beach. Burgau has traditional houses, small shops & supermarkets, ATM, church, bars and superb restaurants. Narrow sloped cobbled streets lead down to the gorgeous sandy beach with a very good beach bar. There are fabulous cliff/coastal walks and drives nearby. Lagos the lovely regional capital is 10 mins. drive away. It has lots of shops, bars, nightlife, abundant historic buildings & churches, marina, wonderful markets and a zoo. It is a delight to wander through the white cobbled streets within the ancient town walls soaking in the warm friendlly atmosphere. Parque da Floresta and BoaVista Golf Courses are within 8 km. Visiting golfers are welcome. A great location for a family holiday!

The fishing village of Burgau, located on the edge of a natural park with miles of stunning coastline stretching westwards to Cape St. Vincent, numerous beaches, coves, and cliffs. You can view the entire coastline of Costa Vincentina from Monchique Mountains a little inland. The area is rich in flora & fauna and a wealth of bird species. Regional capital, Lagos, 6 miles, has an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, ancient buildings, a marina from where boat trips for dolphin-watching are offered, and nearby Lagos Zoo. East of Lagos are waterparks, Zoomarine, Portimao for shopping, and also Algarve Shopping Mall at Guia. Mild winters, low rainfall and 300 hrs. sunshine annually are great for golfing and there are more than 20 prime golf courses within an hour's drive with 2 super courses, Parque da Floresta and Boavista Golf are 15 mins away. Most leisure activities are available including horse riding, tennis, cycling, hill-walking and all kinds of water sports.
