Near Tremolat 17th century character Maison de maitre & pool

PEZULS is a delightful hamlet of just 104 inhabitants, nestling in the heart of Dordogne's 'golden triangle' of Bergerac, Sarlat and Perigieux. The property is a beautiful, very spacious, 17th Century stone house, boasting a newly refurbished interior. The 10m x 5m large pool, exclusively for guests' use, has a shallow end accessed by steps and is fully terraced. The pool is fenced and gated for security. A large, raised decking joins the rear of the house to the pool, which is ideal for dining 'al fresco' and for sunbathing. The Master Suite has a very large double bedroom with access to private ensuite shower room. Double doors lead from the bedroom onto a large raised terrace area with views of the garden and countryside. There are exposed beams throughout and wood and tiled floors. This is an ideal base for fishing, rambling, cycling, bird watching, river activities and exploring local market towns of Lalinde and Le Bugue. Please note, changeover date is SUNDAY

Pezuls is perfectly situated for sightseeing. Situated just 6km from the River Dordogne at Tremolat, where you can hire pedalos, water bikes and canoes or arrange to go water skiing. Visit nearby Lalinde, a delightful market town with regular antiques fairs held throughout the summer. Sarlat is France's largest surviving medieval town with world famous winding streets and a wealth of restaurants. Perigueux is the capital of the Dordogne and great for shopping. Limeuil is officially one of France's most beautiful villages, nestling at the heart of the confluence of the Rivers Dordogne and Vezere. It is the perfect spot for a picnic, canoeing or a swim. Les Eyzies is the home of prehistory and some of the earliest known caves are available to explore

Practical Information

Children are very welcome, although we would point out the garden is not completely fenced and we have elevated terraces. Pets considered.

Long Term Renters Welcome

We offer the house for long term rent from the end of September 2007 through until the end of April 2008. The pool is not available off season. Price £680.00 per month, with fuel replacement and electricity payments at the end of the rental period. Refundable security deposit will be required. Please note, the garage would be available, but the wood store would not. House fully furnished. Central heating and a wood burning stove in the lounge will ensure your stay a comfortable one. An ideal centrally located house for property hunting. Primary schools at Tremolat 6km and Ste Alvere 4km. Secondary Schools at Lalinde and Le Bugue.
