Newly restored authentic self-catering holiday home on 12 acre farm on the scenic Ring of Beara at Pallas, Ardgroom, Beara Peninsula, West Cork. Cottage is on shore front property on pebble strand with excellent views of Ardgroom Harbour, Kenmare Bay, and the Caha Mountains. 1/4 mile to sandy beach. Fresh Water and Sea Fishing available locally. Golfing, Deep Sea Fishing, Sightseeing Cruises, Dive and Sailing Centers in 10-20 mile range. Archaeological sites.   • Towels and bed linen are provided. Final cleaning of cottage and washing of bed linen and towels included in rent.
    Electricity & oil are extra based on usage - normally in the 25 to 30 Euro range per week.
    Booking deposit is 30% of rent. We will hold your reservation for 7 days pending receipt of deposit. Balance is due 2 months prior to your stay. Payment is in Euro. Rental period is from Saturday to Saturday, but we may be able to arrange other days. Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am, but we may be able to arrange other times.

Golf and Restaurants: There is a golf course in Castletownbere about 10 miles away, and one in Kenmare about 20 miles away. Kenmare also has many restaurants. Castletownbere also has some restaurants and is a large fishing port. There is also a Regional Airport about 50 miles away in Farranfore, County Kerry - Kerry Airport (e.g. Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Aer Arann).

Niedliches kleines Haus. Urgemütlich. Gut ausgestattet. Alle technischen Einrichtungen in Ordnung. Problematisch für sehr grosse Personen, da die Schlafbereiche im Spitzdach liegen, die in der Höhe beschränkt sind.
Kontaktaufnahme mit Vermieter funktionierte sehr gut (via Mail). Zeitnahe Antworten auf Mails bzgl. Abstimmung. Betreuung durch Vermieter war klasse und nicht aufdringlich. Falls Vermieter nicht da ist gibt es eine Cottage Managerin die sofort zur Verfügung steht.
Geeignet für echte Irlandurlauber, denen das Wetter auf der Insel nichts ausmacht (wir hatten leider in unseren zwei Wochen nicht so viel Glück), bzw. sich damit arrangieren können.
Essen, Trinken (Pubs) in den nächst groesseren Orten Kenmare (ca. 35 km) und Castletownbere (ca. 12 km). Der nächstgelegene Ort Ardgroom hat auch ein Pub/Restaurant - geht auch so.
