The most important historical sites are at an easy walking distance, shops and good restaurants are just round the corner. This apartment was great. It was clean and well equipped. It is located literally two blocks from Vatican City and only a few minutes walk to the Metro from which you can reach most of Rome in a short time. The owner met us at the agreed time and provided lots of information about the surrounding area including a map and recommendations for places to eat. There were several coffee bars literally adjacent to the apartment. The apartment is on the first floor (2nd floor for thos in North America) but only difficult for those with very limited mobility.
I would recommend this property and will stay again if in Rome and if it's available.

It was an enormous pleasure for us to have these two nice couples staying in our apartment. Everything went so smoothly and they left the apartment in excellent condition after their visit. They would be most welcome to stay in the apartment again.
