Charming newly renovated villa in a corner of paradise

We have just completed the renovation of our villa. It is situated in the beautiful secluded village of Le Rayol Canadel, 12 kilometres from St Tropez, nestling between Le Lavandou and Cavalaire. Our Villa is completely new and has three bedrooms all with en-suites. There are three double bedrooms. It is perfect for six friends who want to go away on holiday, alternatively, perfect for a family, On the first floor, there is a large living/dining room, and a large fully fitted kitchen. This opens out from two glass sliding doors onto a large semi covered dining and sun terrace, which overlooks the Mediterranean and the Isles D'or (Golden Islands), the view of the sea and surroundings are spectacular. There is a small heated swimming pool, which incorporates a jacuzzi and swim gym. The Villa is situated well off the main road and is approximately 5 minutes walk from the beach of Le Rayol, which is a lovely beach, one of two in the village.

Le Rayol-Canadel is situated on the largly unspoilt Mediterranean coastline just 12 Kilometres from the trendy St Tropez, and situated between Le Lavandou and Cavalaire. The village of Le Rayol is a five minute walk from the Villa and caters for everything you need during your stay. If you don't wish to venture very far, Rayol has it all. Fine restaurant, Butcher, Bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, etc. There is also a Friday morning market in Le Rayol and in the other direction of Canadel which is approximately a 10 minute walk on a Tuesday. The surrounding towns and villages also have markets during the summer, and you would find one every day, should you so wish. There are two beaches in Le Rayol Canadel, which caters very much for families with beach restaurants and mattresses for hire for half or a full day. The beaches are monitored in the summer by Lifeguards. Le Rayol Canadel is the perfect place to spend your holiday in the winter or summer.

Bookings are usually on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Arrival time is strictly after 4pm with a departure of 10am, in order to have the house prepared for the next guests. A £500 damage deposit is payable and returned after your departure on confirmation of no damage has occurred. A 25% reservation fee is payable to secure your dates and the final balance is due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.

  • Each bedroom has an en-suite. The main bedroom opens out onto a terrace, with a view of the sea, and has a bath/shower, the second double bedroom, has a shower-room, and also has a small terrace, with a table and chairs, and overlooks the sea and the swimming pool. The third double bedroom has an ensuite shower. All bedrooms have masses of storage hanging space whether you travel light or not. Bicycles must be requested in advance. We only have three available but are delighted to let you use them should you want. There is no extra charge for this but we do stress that the use of these are at your own risk and we take no responsibility for any accidents that may happen whilst using them.

Notes:

The bedrooms in the villa are fully air conditioned for the summer, but also, is centrally heated. There is also a log burning fire in the living area upstairs, which makes is cozy in the winter. The swimming pool can be heated, but is not usually necessary in the summer as it is so hot. There is a garage for secure parking. There is a change of linen and towels on a weekly basis. We can provide basic provisions if you are arriving late if this is requested in advance, but at your cost. The villa has a cot which is provided free of charge, and a high chair. A cleaner or babysitter can be arranged during your stay if you require, at an additional cost of 15 euros per hour, payable locally, but must be booked in advance. There is a large Dining Terrace near the pool with Gas BBQ, Umbrella and a table and chairs. There is a small grassed garden area to sip cocktails in the early evening sun. If you require bicycles, please request these in advance but at your own risk.
