‘ChillHill Villa’ is a 2 bedroom + Double Lounge area Sofabed, fully equipped luxury villa sleeping 4/6 persons and occupies a self contained quiet hillside location with 3 other luxury villas with a shared large Infinity Swimming pool / Jacuzzi (100+ sq.m.) overlooking the town of Skiathos, with 320 degree panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, surrounding hills, Skopelos and Alonnisos Islands and towards Evia and the Greek mainland. The property faces south easterly and you can enjoy a gentle breeze & the beautiful sun rise over the Aegean Sea and watch the sun setting over the hillside. Outside there are 4 terraced areas and 640 sq.m. of landscaped gardens with mature olive trees. The development enjoys a further 2000 sq.m of landscaped common land. A concrete/dirt road/track leads up to the villa from the road below. There is ample private parking alongside. Fully equipped inside and out with air conditioning, quality fixtures, fittings and internal/external furniture for 6 persons.

TRAVEL: You can fly directly to Skiathos or via Athens and Thessalonica by domestic flights, coach, ferry or hydrofoil. Skiathos airport is 8 minutes drive from 'ChillHill Villa' / 'Villa Lilly' with direct flights available from early May to Late October. Car hire (or use of a car) is essential - access to'ChillHill Villa' / 'Villa Lilly' by Jeep or other 4x4 is recommended to fully access and enjoy the island. We can arrange/recommend a reliable transport provider as required. Skiathos town is a 6-8 minute drive away and you can get to anywhere on the island within 30 minutes from 'ChillHill Villa' / 'Villa Lilly' - if you can bear to leave them !!

Accommodation & Additional Details: 'ChillHill Villa' and 'Villa Lilly' benefit from natural summer mountain breezes which gently cool and air the whole property (with suitably opened stable door/windows) which means that the air conditioning is only occasionally required during the hottest weather. Air humidity is seldom, if at all, uncomfortable and only during the most extreme temperatures in high season. The infinity swimming pool / spa (100+ sq.m.) is more than large enough to accommodate all guests. Non-swimmers and children will need adult supervision. Air conditioning to all rooms, central heating, log burning fireplace. Ample power points and adjustable lighting/dimmer switches throughout.

The development is surrounded by olive trees, fruit trees, other plants, flowers and flowering shrubs. Private parking is provided. Transport/car essential. Not suitable for wheelchair users,. very young children or the infirm.

Villa Lilly, one week in May

Arrived here first week of 'the season' to fantastic weather. The view from this home from home is breathtaking! Great pool and facilities in the villa were great. Sit out of an evening and you could be well taxed to find a more quiet and relaxed way of life. A car is essential and when the access road is finished it will be perfect. We visited as a family and while I do think it is not suited to small children it is ideal for couples and older children. We will be returning as a couple next year, although doing a hotel in Skiathos in September, loved the island so much. Great restaurants and unbelieveable beaches on the island. Perfect.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: From Good to Great! The access road is concreted apart from a stretch of earth road in between, so we recommend four wheel drive vehicles - 4x4's - such as a Jimny or Suzuki Samurai in the event of severe bad weather. In any event 4x4's allow full access to all the amazing getaway beaches and scenery Skiathos has to offer.

Stunning villa!

We have just returned from Villa Lilly having spent our 25th wedding anniversary there and it was perfect. We were met by Darrell at the airport who had arranged our jeep hire who then took us up to our wonderful villa which was spotlessly clean and tidy.The view was absolutely stunning and we spent many hours on one of the three terraces/balcony just gazing! We have been holidaying in Skiathos for 8 years now & this was the best so far. The infinity pool was lovely & once again from there, the view was spectacular. We've been to quite a few tavernas on the island over the years & one that we hadn't so far sampled was just down the road.....Taverna Agnadio & we would definitely recommend it as we would Taverna Platanias in Agia Pareskevi the food is delicious in both. Skiathos is a wonderful island (which is why we keep coming back!) & Villa Lilly is an enchanting place to stay. Thanks to Kevin, Val & Darrell for all the excellent communication & for helping to make our anniversary so memorable.

The best you can get!

Just got back from Skiathos, we stayed at ChillHill Villa for 1 week.

To start with, the villa was very clean and tidy and had everything and much more than you would need during your holiday. The view was breathtaking, you could see the whole island, even Skopelos and other smaller islands which were lightened up at night. We were lucky to have a full moon during our stay!

The pool was also fantastic as you could again see the whole island while swimming. The location was very good, it was very quite and just a 5 minute drive from Skiathos town and 10-15 from the popular beaches.

Moreover, the villa's local agent was very nice and helpful, she recommended places to visit and restaurants. The communication with the owners was also excellent.

I don't think we could have gone anywhere better than ChillHill Villa, we would definitelly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an unforgetable time in Skiathos, we would definitelly go back again in the future!

Our party of five adults were enchanted by chillhill. Spectacular views over skiathos town and surrounding areas from the terraces were breathtaking and it became addictive to sit there with a drink and watch the changing scenery! The villa is equipped to a very high standard with all the comforts of home. Plenty of space for us all and the grounds were delightful. The infinity pool is an excellent addition and even whilst cooling off, we were able to look out over the hills and the sea. We hired jeeps to see the island and these got us to off road to some of the more inaccessible areas of the island. Great fun! Our neighbours were great as was our taxi driver. Darrell, the host for the villa, was brilliant and all the people on the island were friendly too. Our favourite place to eat was Dinos in skiathos town and the girlies loved the shops! The drive up to the villa is special and we had no problems with the part of the road which wasnt concreted. This is an enchanting property and we certainly did chill out there! 5 stars from us all.

September break in Skiathos

Chillhillvilla really is as good as it looks in the photos. The standard of accommodation is very good with all fixtures and fittings of good quality and in working order.

There is lots of inside and outside space and the pool and its surrounding area are truly exceptional.

All of this with probably the best views anywhere on the island.

As promised the local English agents were able to provide all the help and support we needed.

We hired a jeep and think that this made accessing the property and surrounding area much easier than it would have been in an ordinary car.

If you choose to go then don't miss a trip to taverna Ignadio, only a five minute drive away with great food and service.
