Valentina is situated close to La Mata, a typically Spanish town which has one of the best sandy beaches in Spain a variety of restaurants, bars, banks, pharmacies & supermarkets. A 3km promenade, ideal for a gentle stroll or more vigorous exercise if you sample too many of the excellent local restaurants. There’s excellent weather throughout the year with 320 days of sunshine and an average temp of 18C. Nearby Torrevieja has a cosmopolitan seafront easily reached by a local bus service that operates all year round regularly from outside the gates of the complex. There’s craft markets, shops an Aquapark & Go Karts nearby. A good range of golf courses within about a 15-20 minute drive & beautiful scenery in the national park nearby. Valentina is located in a quiet area but within a very short stroll to the local supermarket, cafes, car hire and close to a bustling centre with restaurants, bars & a large Carrefour hypermarket.   • PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY

    1. Occupancy - A maximum of SIX people are allowed in any one booking & occupancy is based on a weekly basis. DISCOUNTS are available for booking in excess of 3 weeks. Long term rentals during low season from €120 per week.
    2. Damage & Breakages - A refundable deposit of £150 (POUNDS STERLING cheque) will be payable 2 weeks before arrival. Following satisfactory departure inspection the deposit will be returned within 7 working days.
    3. Paymment - a deposit of €120 will be payable at the time of booking. Full and final payment will be due 8 weeks before arrival. The following cancellation charges will apply: 8 - 6 weeks 50%, 6 - 4 weeks 75%, under 4 weeks 100%
    4.Payment Method & Currency - Pyament in Euros by bank transfer. Please contact for other currencies. Please note we do NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES. If booking made under 4 weeks to date of departure then we accept Euros in cash on arrival plus breakages deposit.
  • 5. The apartment will normally be available from 2pm on the day of arrival however we are flexible, where possible, on arrival/departure times by prior arrangement.
    6. The apartment must be vacated by 10am on day of departure; we may be able to extend this time subject to availability Please enquire We are unable to offer luggage storage after departure. 7 CLEANING & LAUNDRY - Clients are expected to leave the apartment clean & tidy The terrace, kitchen (including cooker) should be left clean Cooking utensils, pots and pans washed and put away A cleaning & laundry charge payable on arrival of €40 based on 1 to 4 person occupancy 4 - 6 person occupancy €50 will be payable on all bookings. 8. Air con - is available between June & September bookings requiring air con will attract a small surcharge of €35 per week payable in advance. 9. Other services available Welcome Pack €5 Meet & Greet free. Call out for replacement or lost keys €30.
  • CLIENT PROFILE We do not permit rentals to groups of youths under the age of 25. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or terraces. DISCLAIMER The owners will not be liable for any loss or damage to persons/articles/possessions in or around the apartment, gardens or swimming pool during the clients occupation. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL CLIENTS CARRY APPROPRIATE TRAVEL INSURANCE AT TIME OF BOOKING AND OCCUPANCY.

Why we chose La Mata: We chose La Mata for our holiday apartment because of the beautiful surroundings that cater for most needs. Valentina is situated to take advantage of the beautiful views over the Salt Flats where we have personally spent time viewing the pink flamingo’s; it is also close to the National Park area, and of course those beautiful Blue Flag Beaches, the proximity of superb golf courses, and fun parks for our younger visitors. The choice of restaurants has amazed us and we have sampled as many as we can manage in the time we have lived in this area. At Valentina you can enjoy a holiday as quiet (or not) as you please depending on what takes your fancy, either a day in the town, visiting nearby Torrevieja or Guadamar, relaxing in the gardens beside the pool that is overlooked by the apartment, at the beach or simply on the furnished rooftop terrace. Either way we are committed to ensuring your holiday is enjoyable; we hope you love the area as much as we do.

Cycle Hire: La Mata and the surrounding area has some wonderful places of discovery and is well served with cycle paths. If you are interested in cycle hire please check out the Dial a Bike Cycle Hire on their website http://www.dialabike.net They are based in La Mata and have a wide selection of bikes available for rental for a day a week or beyond. GOLF Six 18 hole golf courses within 40 mins at La Manga La Finca La Marquesa Las Ramblas Vilamartin & Campomar. Terra Mitica (Theme Park) nr Benidrom 60 mins by car, Jnct 65 on A7 Mundomar Sea World nr Benidorm, marine & exotic animal park. Aqualandia water park close to Mundomar. Fuentes de Algar, waterfalls of Algar close to Altea. Guadalest, with lakes & swimming under waterfalls & solar power powered boat rides. There's a water park at Torrevieja 5 mins away; a sister park in Quesada 15 mins away avoids large queues and higher parking charges during peak holiday season. Our stay at apartment Valentina September 2008

We had a wonderful week long stay at apartment Valentina in La Mata and could not recommend highly enough a holiday here.

First of all the apartment is absolutely lovely. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Everthing was imaculately clean and tidy and there was even a welcome pack with some essentials so that you can settle in an not have to rush out to get supplies.

Charles and Valerie the owners have thought of everything they can too make the apartment feel a home from home.

We were on our first holiday with our baby son and the apartment was stocked with a baby cot and even a baby bath which we thought was a lovely touch.

We had some nice breakfasts on the terrace out the front overlooking the pool and some relaxing evenings on the roof terrace with a glass of wine watching the sun go down.

The swimming pool was also fantastic and there is also a smaller pool to cater for little one's which our little boy had a whale of a time in.

The area is also ideal as there is a supermarket and restaurants within a few short minutes of the apartment. The superb La Mata beach is also a short 10-15 minute walk away. It's a lovely sandy beach that stretches for miles and you can easily find a spot even on the most crowded of days.

The owners Charles and Valerie were a pleasure to deal with and genuinly lovely people, and bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. They also knew the area very well and had several great suggestions of places to visit as well as places to eat etc.

We had a wonderful week at apartment Valentina and will most certainly be returning for another holiday there very soon.
Owner's Response: It is good to know that in our first year in La Mata we are receiving such a warm response to our efforts to provide good value and those little extra things that you may miss from home. We were also keen to ensure that our younger guests enjoy their stay enabling mum and dad to be able to relax and go home feeling refreshed. The pool at Valentina is one of the few in La Mata that is open all year round and is open between the hours of 7:00 am to midnight. We look forward to a 2nd successful year in 2009 and giving you a warm welcome.

The owners met us on arrival and were very helpful. The appartment is first class and has everything you need for the perfect holiday. The ground and pool area are cleaned daily and well maintained. Neighbours are helpful and friendl Would advise to hire a car its ok walking to the beach but not walking back (up hill), and there are many interesting places to visit. My family and i had a holiday to remember and look forward to visiting next year.
