Additional information about rental rates

• Special Offers A 10% discount on the weekly rate is available for 3 or more weeks. Long term lets are available £500 per month – please contact the owner for details. Payment is accepted in British pounds other currencies will be accepted subject to confirmation with owner. A booking fee of 25% of the weekly rental rate secures the booking with the remaining balance due 8 weeks in advance of travel. Late bookings are accepted subject to availability, please enquire. There are no extra charges for cleaning or electricity but a breakage deposit of £100 is due with outstanding balance; refunded when keys are returned and no major breakages are made. Change over days and times are flexible subject to occupancy the owner will meet you on arrival to welcome you and answer any queries you may have. Additional extras; small welcome food pack, provision of baby cot + linen\high chair\baby bath are provided free of charge. Airport transfer information can be supplied and is approx €40
• Occupancy - A maximum of 6 people (4 adults & 2 children under 14) are allowed in any one booking and occupancy is based on a weekly basis. The apartment is normally available from 3:00pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00am. These times are flexible subject to availability on the day and should be agreed in advance with the owner. Please contact us for details of how to pay using Paypal
  Air Conditioning – To master bedroom and Air con/heating unit in the living area. There is no charge for these during your stay but please do not leave them running when you are not in the apartment. Always ensure doors & windows are closed when they are running & please be aware of climate change issues.
  Cancellation – Details in our booking conditions sent with our booking form.
• Damages & Breakages - A refundable deposit of £100 is payable with the final balance of your holiday. Following satisfactory £100 is payable direct to the owner upon request.
  Cleaning & Laundry – Please do not remove towels from the apartment. Please bring your own beach towels as these are not supplied
  Disclaimer – The owner has provided a built in safe – free of charge – window & door grilles & window locks for your security. You are responsible for your belongings whilst in the apartment.

Our stay at apartment Valentina September 2008

We had a wonderful week long stay at apartment Valentina in La Mata and could not recommend highly enough a holiday here.

First of all the apartment is absolutely lovely. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Everthing was imaculately clean and tidy and there was even a welcome pack with some essentials so that you can settle in an not have to rush out to get supplies.

Charles and Valerie the owners have thought of everything they can too make the apartment feel a home from home.

We were on our first holiday with our baby son and the apartment was stocked with a baby cot and even a baby bath which we thought was a lovely touch.

We had some nice breakfasts on the terrace out the front overlooking the pool and some relaxing evenings on the roof terrace with a glass of wine watching the sun go down.

The swimming pool was also fantastic and there is also a smaller pool to cater for little one's which our little boy had a whale of a time in.

The area is also ideal as there is a supermarket and restaurants within a few short minutes of the apartment. The superb La Mata beach is also a short 10-15 minute walk away. It's a lovely sandy beach that stretches for miles and you can easily find a spot even on the most crowded of days.

The owners Charles and Valerie were a pleasure to deal with and genuinly lovely people, and bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. They also knew the area very well and had several great suggestions of places to visit as well as places to eat etc.

We had a wonderful week at apartment Valentina and will most certainly be returning for another holiday there very soon.

Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Tourists without a Car, Age 55+

Owner's Response: It is good to know that in our first year in La Mata we are receiving such a warm response to our efforts to provide good value and those little extra things that you may miss from home. We were also keen to ensure that our younger guests enjoy their stay enabling mum and dad to be able to relax and go home feeling refreshed. The pool at Valentina is one of the few in La Mata that is open all year round and is open between the hours of 7:00 am to midnight. We look forward to a 2nd successful year in 2009 and giving you a warm welcome.

The owners met us on arrival and were very helpful. The appartment is first class and has everything you need for the perfect holiday. The ground and pool area are cleaned daily and well maintained. Neighbours are helpful and friendl Would advise to hire a car its ok walking to the beach but not walking back (up hill), and there are many interesting places to visit. My family and i had a holiday to remember and look forward to visiting next year.
