Spacious, sun-filled Provencal villa with a stunning view
Villa la Lumiere is a large stone house with a breath-taking view ten minutes by car from the center of Aix-en-Provence, thought by many to be the loveliest town in France. Located on a spacious, agreeably secluded property in the Provencal town of Vauvenargues, the villa boasts a generous, comfortable living space with a cathedral ceiling, many large outdoor terraces and easy access to all of Provence. It has a large open kitchen, an open fireplace, welcoming, comfy sofas, 2/ 1/2 baths, 3 bedrooms and every other comfort that the American owners could think of to provide themselves. The views from every room are smashing; the art collection will make you think you are living in a museum; even the plates and bowls are beautiful and amusing. the only problem with being here is that after the Villa Lumiere, going home is a tough row to hoe.
