Overall we found the property to be accurately described with regard to location, layout and facilities. All of a high standard. The property was clean, well maintained, towels, bedding, etc., were replaced regularly. Rooms cleaned daily to a very high standard. The maid service was 100% and done with alacrity and courtesy. Any requests for help or advice actioned quickly. The Manager speaks excellent English and was full of local information, I found him extremely helpful at all times. *We were impressed when asking about a wheelchair for one member to find it was readily available at all times.
The local activities, shops, markets, places to visit such as The Basilica in Panjim, the Spice Farm are interesting and varied, so many other activies of which there are too many to mention, you need to visit them on the websites. (Which we did before going to Goa).
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Villa Alina to a friend or relative. Indeed this is my second visit to this lovely home and because I so enjoyed my first stay (in 2009), my husband and myself persuaded family and friends to join us this time in 2010.
Any advice to pass on........what can I say, put your toe in the pool, as we all did daily, and try the Villa Alina Goa, you will not regret it.
