Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in Carvoeiro, just 300m centre of town & beach
This lovely 1st floor apartment is superbly located at the Monte Dourado resort right in the centre of Carvoeiro, 300 metre stroll to the beach & the centre of town. The apartment is spacious, main double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, second bedroom with twin beds, 2nd bathroom, modern kitchen fully fitted , spacious lounge with sat tv, dvd player, ipod speakers/hi-fi, dining table, this leads out on to a lovely sunny terrace with table, chairs, south facing with pleasant views over Carvoeiro to the sea beyond. The apartment lies in a nice secluded spot which is quiet & peaceful at night and outside there are well maintained gardens, apartment is very near to the lovely pool area (with kids pool) and the tennis courts are 50 metres away. There is a safe, alarm, telephone and the apartment benefits from on site maid, laundry and reception services all included in the price. For those that know Carvoeiro it is a hidden gem on the Algarve, nestled in a lovely cove the village has developed over the years and has an excellent choice of restaurants & shops, The beach is set in a lovely cove and is surrounded by cafes & restaurants. Monte Dourado enjoys a privileged hill-top position overlooking the Carvoeiro beach and within strolling distance of the village and is recognised as one of the Algarve´s most upmarket coastal resorts. There are tennis courts on site and a nice 9 hole par 3 golf course (Vale de Milho) just up the road or a more challenging 18 holes each at Pinta & Gramacho 10 minutes away, Carvoeiro is set on a really beautifiul stretch of coast with cliff tops mingled with super sandy cove beaches. Slide & Spash water park is 5 minutes away in Lagoa and Zoomarine theme park is within 20 mins. One of the best characteristics of Carvoeiro is the restaurants, the cuisine is absolutely fabulous with an amazing choice all within a short walk.

Includes maid service weekly & towels changed twice weekly, daily maid service is available at an additional charge. Beach towels are provided.
Tennis court are €5 per hour, racquets/balls can be hired at reception for a small charge, there are plenty of nice new sunbeds around the pool which are provided free.

Rental rates include reception service, open daily. They can arrange car hire, airport transfers & groceries, they also have useful information on local tourist attractions. Reception are also on hand in the unlikely event there is a problem with your apartment and maintenance staff are based on site. There is also the convenience of a telephone link to reception in the apartment, available also for outside calls at additional cost.

Our holiday in Carvoeiro

The apartment was very spacious and was very handy having the two bathrooms. The position of the apartment was excellent, near the pool and very quiet. The pools were lovely and especially the little pool for our two year old! The maids came in every day to do a basic clean and empty the rubbish and the towels were changed at least 3 times during the week. The reception was very useful and helpful for any queries etc and for ordering our grocery pack for arrival.
The situation of the apartment complex itself was very good and close to all amenities and the beach, the hills weren't too bad!
The only things I was disappointed with was the fact that there wasn't a microwave in the kitchen and the television could do with being udated and some DVD's provided and a few books etc for children. Also there needs to be some fans in the bedrooms, or even better air conditioning although we were able to hire fans from reception at 1 euro per day.
All in all we had an excellent time and didn't want to come home!

This is the first year we have owned the apartment so we will try to build a collection of books & dvds etc, we also think the location is great, nice and quiet with a lovely pool area yet so close to the town & beach.
