Riad el Az, at the heart of the Medina, hidden from sight behind a small wooden door, welcomes you to fresh and bright surroundings, with both simplicity and comfort. Riad el Az is located in Marrakech' Medina, in the Sidi Mimoun neighbourhood close to the new Royal Palace , and is easily accessible by car. Riad el Az is built around an inner courtyard. It includes one lounge, one dining room, one smoking room, five bedrooms with bathroom ensuite/one suite comprising two bedrooms, a lounge one bathroom/ a terrace –sundeck. Riad el Az is located in Marrakech' Medina , in the Sidi Mimoun neighbourhood close to the new Royal Palace , and is easily accessible by car. It is a six or seven minutes walk , away from square Jemaa el Fna and overlooks the Mamounia Palace Gardens. It is also within easy reach of the hivernage neighbourhood.

A great place to stay

We had a great time and we are planning to return next year. Arriving at the Riad may be a little disconcerting the first time as you make your way through the small streets, but when you get inside the Riad and see the indoor garden and the terrace it is all forgotten.
The hospitallity was fantastic. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable.

Traditional riad close to all tourist spots

This riad is really traditional and comfortable. It is situated in a quiet residential part of the medina and is a great place to escape from the bustling square and streets. There was a daily maid service which changed bedding and towels, and we were served a basic continental breakfast each morning. The riad is extremely quiet and whilst the staff are really helpful, it can be difficult to locate them sometimes! This did not bother us, as we were happy to find out local information ourselves. If you do require wine and beverages on tap then this is probably not the riad for you, but if you are happy to come and go as you please and find your own way in this amazing city then this riad is a excellent calm base for exploration. There is also a fabulous roof terrace that is great for lounging in and watching the sun set. If we went back to Marrakech we would definately stay here again.

Our stay in Riad El Az was gorgeous.
We really liked the environment with trees and the terrace overlooking La Mamounia famous Palace gardens .
The personnel really takes care of you and anticipate your needs .
The access is very handy by taxi.
The place is properly maintained .
For sure, we strongly recommend Riad El Az to all visitors to Marrakech .

We really spent a good stay in Riad El Az , the place is very well kept .

We really appreciated the very easy access by taxi.

The personnel is warm , welcoming and helpful, together with the very soft prices of Riad El Az .
