The elegant village house has been completely renovated by its current owners to provide comfortable and stylish self-catering accommodation. The villa is ideal for both families and couples. It is extremely comfortable and has been designed by the British owners to be their second home. It has all the conveniences that you would expect of a home with the added advantage of great weather and lovely sandy beaches close by. Lindos's night life is excellent. There are great restaurants and bars to suit all tastes, from a romantic dinner for two to a family dinner where the children truly are welcome. It is a perfect Summer Holiday destination but also great for a long winter break away from the northern climate.

This elegant village house is situated in the heart of Lindos village, only a few minutes walk from the main square. The villa is located in a quiet residential area and yet it is within minutes walk of both the main beach and Pallas beach and is only 15 minutes walk from the historic St Paul's Bay. It is also very close to the centre of the village where you will find supermarkets, a bank, a pharmacy and numerous bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. It really would be hard to find a more convenient location. Rhodes International Airport and Rhodes town are only 45 minutes away. Rhodes town, famous for the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the 7 Wonders of the World, is well worth a visit. The Old Town is a warren of winding streets with many small gift shops and good restaurants and the New Town has good shopping and some lovely Art Deco architecture. The island has some wonderful beaches and the centre is mountainous and wooded - a great place to explore and escape the heat!

Notes to the rental rates

  • Please contact the owners (preferably by e-mail) to make a booking.
    A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure.
    Maid service is provided mid week within the price and linen and towels are changed weekly. If you require additional maid service and linen change, this is available at extra cost, payable locally. Please contact the owner for details.
    Please note, beach towels are not provided.
    Check out is at 10am and check in is at 4pm.
    Long lets in the Winter months are available at £1000 per month, which includes heating.

  • The large main bathroom, with an over-bath shower and separate toilet, is beautifully decorated in aged marble to give the feel of a 'Grecian' bath. The smaller shower room has a walk in shower as well as a toilet and hand washbasin. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails and a washing machine, for guest use, is installed in the main bathroom. Large, good quality towels are provided but please note we do not provide beach towels. Please do not take the bath towels to the beach as this quickly spoils them.

  • A super-kingsize (6ft) bed is the focal point of the lovely Master Bedroom. The high ceilings and two large windows mean that it is light and airy. A fitted wardrobe and chest of draws provides ample storage space. This room is accessed either from the sala (living room) or from the second bedroom. The Lindian Bedroom has a traditional Lindian Platform bed with two single mattress, that can be made up as singles or a double. It is ideal for a couple or for children. There is a door directly out onto the courtyard, as well as doors leading into the kitchen and Master Bedroom. The bedlinen is of good quality Egyptian cotton and is regularly renewed. The mattresses are medium to firm and are very comfortable.

Notes:

This traditional Lindian house, built in the 1920s by Italians, has been lovingly restored by it current owners. The house is built around a traditional pebbled courtyard and the rooms, with the exception of the master bedroom, are accessed from the courtyard. Most of them can also be accessed internally. The courtyard is very pretty and is a lovely place to enjoy a meal. There is a wooden table, which seats 6 as well as a daybed (summer only) which is ideal for your afternoon siesta or for sleeping under the stars. It is a very comfortable, homely villa. There is a large sofa in the sitting room and the bedrooms and sitting room have air-conditioning and heating to ensure a comfortable temperature year-round. PLEASE NOTE: some of the large windows in the sitting room and master bedroom, open directly onto the street which is 15-20 feet below. If you have young children, we would strongly advise you to keep these windows and shutters closed. There is still plenty of light.
