This property is perfectly located in the heart of the Parque da Floresta Resort, enabling guests to take advantage of the facilities on resort, including 18-hole golf course and a driving range with a resident pro. Floodlit tennis courts and championship bowling greens. All of which have regular competitions for visitors and members alike. Indoor and outdoor heated pools, with sauna and Jacuzzi. Fully equipped gym with exercise studio and a luxury health and beauty spa providing (comfort zone) treatments and hairdresser. There are many restaurants on resort as well as numerous traditional restaurants in the surrounding area. With over 20 beaches within a 20 mins drive from resort there is ample opportunity to find a quiet secluded spot even in the height of summer.

Parque da Floresta is located in the heart of the Costa Vincent National Park, with more than 20 beaches within a 30 min drive. The nearest big town is Lagos, which is 20 mins drive, and has a beautiful Marina, 6km sandy beach with lots of watersports, and plenty of shops and restuarants for all tastes. Sagres to the east is a 15-20 min drive, this has a number of restaurants and shops, plenty of beaches and has some great surfing beaches. Alzejur further up the unspoilt west coast is around 30 mins drive. And the golf courses of Boavista, Palmares and Morgardo are within a 30 min drive.

Club and shoe hire is available, and lessons with the resident golf pro. Other courses close by include Boavista, Palmares, Penina and Morgado.

We are a couple with a 3 year old and we enjoyed our stay very much. Everything is just the way the owners described, lovely house, great views, very quiet, enjoyable sorroundings. Well-maintained property, nice welcome food pack, the owners provide great tips about were to go and places to eat. Good swimming-pool. I´ve already recommended it to my friends. This is a good bet. I intend to go there again.

LOOK NO FURTHER!

I'm a frequent visitor to this resort, so when my sister and I wanted to take our mum away to celebrate a milestone birthday, I couldn't think of anywhere I'd rather go! We also had my young niece with us and we all had a fantastic time, so it's testament to the park that it doesn't matter if you're 7 or 70 you won't be disappointed!

The villa is perfectly situated, modern with all the home comforts and a well-equipped kitchen (although the choice of restaurants is so good, who wants to stay in and cook?!). There are fabulous views from its secluded terrace and we spent many an evening watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. It was especially convenient having the gorgeous pool so close by (kids always seem to want to take ALL their toys with them for a swim?!), and the poolside restaurant meant not having to get dried off or changed for lunch!

The park has lots of things to do, but it also has lots of places to relax if you can't be bothered as well! None of us play golf, but it didn't stop us appreciating the course surroundings and an evening walk around the wonderfully kept gardens is great for working up an appetitie! There are many beautiful beaches and Lagos is a short taxi ride away with great shops, restaurants and plenty to see.

All in all a fab place and we can't recommend it enough! So much so.........I'll be back this summer!

Parque de Fantastic!

We have stayed in this perfect one bed villa on a number of occasions and have always had the most fantastic time.
The villa itself is perfect for couples with a everything you could require including a very comfortable king size bed,well equipped kitchen (not that we spent too much time there) and lovely terrace with views of the coast.
The resort itself offers everything it says on the tin and you
don't have to be a golfer to enjoy all that is on offer.
A must is a visit to the famous beach bar at Figueira for the piri piri chicken which is amazing.There are countless other resturants all serving great local produce at reasonable prices and enough beaches within ten minutes or so to chose a different one every day.
Overall parque da Floresta ticked every box as far as our holiday was concerned and was a perfect base for all the activities we enjoy which included Golf,surfing,shopping,eating,drinking and just doing nothing. Cant wait to return and will definately choose this villa again next time. Thanks again to Anne and Ian for letting us enjoy there holiday home and making us feel so welcome.
