Photos and Description of this Bosa holiday villa A 3 bedroom property, near Bosa in a tranquil cliff side coastal position

The villa is located less than 10 minutes drive form the fishing town of Bosa on the NW coastline of Sardinia. It is a tranquil area within a hamlet of small houses, a church and piazza. Restaurants and bars are within 15 minutes walk during the tourist season. It offers superb panoramic sea views lying less than 70 metres from the cliff edge with access to a rocky beach. Sandy beaches are less than 10-15 minutes walk and a short drive will take you to secluded and tranquil coves as well as beaches with night clubs and discos in the town of Bosa. The villa itself has modern amenities including internet, and was completely refurbished in 2006. An above ground pool was installed in 2009. Evenings are fantastic with sun sets over the sea directly in front of you from the veranda. It is great for romantic holidays as well as family get together. It is child friendly and can accommodate a maximum of 8 persons (two double rooms and one room with two bunk beds).

The historic Roman town of Bosa is 40 Km from Alghero airport and the house is a 5 minute drive from Bosa. Within walking distance you will find shops and bars. A short drive to Bosa and you will find typical tourist attractions with large beaches, discos, night clubs and larger hypermarkets, banks and all amenities. So you have both worlds and can return to a more tranquil setting. The area is rated 5 stars in the Italian blue guide of beaches. And is often ranked as having some of the cleanest beaches in Europe. Santa Maria is a central spot for religious festivals during the month of August and you get a real feel for local life and celebrations. An internationally renowned golf course if 30 minutes drive designed by Van Hagge. The countryside is spectacular. You can walk from the villa and start a Southerly coastal walk that takes you miles either via the coastline or into the country which is wild and mountainous. You'll experience the breadth of sea weather, heavy and calm.

Notes: Whilst we accept smoking we would ask you to appreciate the needs of other tenants who maybe non-smokers and recommend you smoke outside. The front patio is ideal for a cigarette and a glass of wine! The villa has its own garden area and is away from other villas so you feel you have a place of your own whilst not feeling completely isolated with nearby houses in the area and the piazza and church to sit, talk to the locals and read. From May 2009 7.5 x 4.2 x 1.32 pool will be available for use it will be set in a landscaped garden with additional patio and eating area, plus BBQ and pizza oven.

Wunderschöne Villa mit grandiosem Blick

Wir haben in der Villa Mannu zwei wunderschöne Wochen erlebt. Die Beschreibungen auf der Homepage stimmen vollkommen überein. Der Pool ist eine absolute Wohltat und eine nette Erfrischung wenn man von einem Ausflug zurückkommt. Mit Worten kann man aber den wunderschönen Ausblick von der Terasse auf das Meer mit dem Sonnenuntergang nicht richtig beschreiben. Man muss es einfach selbst erlebt haben. In 15 Minuten Fussmarsch erreicht man sehr nette Restaurants in denen man für wenig Geld super essen kann. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden diese Villa jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Einen kleinen Wehmutstropfen gab es aber dann doch: Leider konnten wir in dem Fernseher die Fußball-WM nicht verfolgen, da in Italien dies nur auf dem privaten Fernsehsender Sky übertragen wurde und dies im Hause nicht angeboten wurde. War aber nicht ganz so schlimm, so konnten wir die WM im nahegelegenen Restaurant schaun.

Owner's Response: We stayed in the Villa Mannu two wonderful weeks. The descriptions on the website agrees completely. The pool is an absolute bonus and nice and refreshing when you get back from a trip. With words you can not describe the wonderful views from the terrace of the sea with the sunset . You simply have to be there to experience it. Within 15 minutes walk you get to a very nice restaurants where you can eat great for little money. Overall, we felt very happy and would recommend this villa any time. One small fly in the ointment. Unfortunately, we could not follow, the World Cup, since in Italy it was broadcast only on the private television channel Sky, and this was not availble in the villa. But it was not to bad, as we were able to follow it at the nearby restaurant.

Very Good equipped house in exeptional location

The house is located about 800 m next to the nearest beach. Just a short walk along the street to porto alabe.
The view to the sea in a westward direction is exeptional so you can see fantastic sunsets.
The house is well equipped, kitchen facilities are as good as the multimedia equipment and the possibility to use the internet.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: We are very lucky you could not ask for a better location, and there is never two sunsets the same.

Our aim is to equip the villa to a high standard especially with kitchen utensils.

Very Nice Villa in a Beutiful Sorrounding

We were there for a week in April/Mai. The contact from the beginning were very good. The provided information were very good and helpful. We found everything as described. The villa itself is very good equipped with everything you need. The sorrounding of the villa were excellent. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed the stay in and outside the villa. You really don´t need more for a nice stay in Sardinia.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: It is lovely when we get positive feedback from customers. Not only did they enjoy the fact that the villa had everything they needed and the views were spectacular, but more important for us we delivered exactly what they expected. This is our motto "nothing more nothing less".

Our Report on the Villa!

We could not have picked a better place. The villa was the perfect place to have our honeymoon. It was the highlight of our two week honeymoon to Sardinia, Rome and Naples. We loved the view from the villa, fireplace and the privacy! Also, one of the evenings that we enjoyed the most was when we took a walk in the neighborhood down to a nearby rocky beach. It was a beautiful, relaxing, secluded experience!

We enjoyed all of the facilities (even the pool at the end of October :). We loved the comfortable couch and the nice new t.v. with many movie selections, the kitchen for cooking Italian meals, and even the grapes in the garden! We were able to sit and enjoy the sun beating down on us on the lawn chairs even though it was the end of October. It was a wonderful break from cloudy Berlin!

Everything worked properly, the Villa was clean and the owner provided very good customer service.

Regretfully, we did not get around to using the Ping-pong table :(

We enjoyed the stay in the pretty nice villa very much; well equiped and clean accomondation. bathrooms and kitchen compared with other offered "villas" very positive and full equipped. all sleeping rooms has protection against insects; outside area with private pool sufficient for groups up to six people. different places around the villa with comfortable and attractive chairs and tables; this makes sitting outside during the whole day and also the evenings
possible and attractive. phantastic view from nearly all places around the view on the near sea. up to four beaches reachable within max. 10 min car-ride. partly also by hiking. bosa is a pretty nice old sardegnian town with good restraurants offering local food.
