Spacious beautiful house with 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 14 guests and 1 baby. Situated near the beautiful harbour town of Honfleur. The house is finished to a high standard within its own private gardens with an outside decked dining area. The 5 bedrooms are spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space. The small village of Conteville has a bakers, shops, pub and two restaurants (1 awarded a 2007 Michelin star). The house is in a traditional Normandy style within its own grounds with views over the countryside. The spacious living area opens onto the gardens and its beautiful decked dining area with garden furniture, petanque court and BBQ. There is a games room with pool table and table football. Located within 10 minutes drive of Honfleur.

Conteville is a lovely little village on the outskirts of Honfleur. It has a small selection of shops, including bakers, butchers, mini-supermarket, hairdresser and post office. There is also a creperie, tabac and a Michelin star restaurant for those evenings when you want to stroll out rather than drive. Honfleur is a charming harbour town, with plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes and art galleries. Honfleur has an interesting Maritime museum and an impressive array of architecture. The public gardens, with outside swimming pool is also very pretty. Just down the coast is the famous duet of towns Trouville and Deauville with their designer shops, casinos, sandy beach, restaurants, race course and variety of golf courses. In and around Honfleur you will find many public tennis courts, horse riding stables, sea fishing and water sports. Calvados has beautifully lush green countryside and sandy coastline. The D-Day beaches are also a short drive away from the house.

  • 40 % deposit payable when booking.

    Balance payable 8 weeks before holiday start date.

    We can accept payments by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or Euros
  • We give you the option of either hiring linen or bringing your own.
    If you would prefer to hire - there is a charge of £10 per person per stay.
    Duvets covers, sheets and bath towels will be provided and the beds will be made up fresh for your arrvival.

    For weeks outside of July and August there is a charge of £6 per person per week covering fire logs, central heating and electricity/water.

    There is an end of stay cleaning fee of £65. We do ask you to do your pots, empty the bins, clear the fire of ash and leave the house in a tidy state

The Garden and Outside: The grounds include an outside decked patio with dining area under a large pagoda. Large BBQ. Large lawned enclosed gardens of over an acre, with a variety of apple trees and a private petanque court. The garden is in a very peaceful location, and not overlooked, lovely views on all sides. Ample parking on the long driveway.

The Games Room: The house has an indoor games room including pool table and table football. We also have a variety of boardgames, DVD film library (30 DVDs) and selection of books.

We spent a fabulous week here in July 2009. The location was fantastic and perfect for a family with 3 small children. The house was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Would recommend highly!!!

We enjoyed our holiday at this house.

The place was very well equipped and was ideal for a family holiday with children as the garden was big enough for the kids to run around.

Large rooms and good layout with excellent facilities. Clean and well maintained.

Thoroughly recommended for those who want a quiet rural retreat that is not too far out of town.

Great location, stunning house

We spent two weeks at this house in July 2008. We enjoyed our stay very much, The location is great - convenient for Honfleur. Lovely and peaceful countryside setting - you can walk into the local village in 10 mins for your morning bread etc. The games room was a great benefit and all the rooms spacious. The house was clean on arrival with fresh bedding and towels laid out. I would come back to this house.
