This lovely holiday villa is situated next to the beach in Las Marines, just a few minutes from central Denia, a vibrant, Spanish coastal town full of fantastic fish and paella restaurants, pavement cafes, bars and gorgeous shops (especially shoe shops!). Denia is a culturally rich town, with a fascinating history. Denia castle is open all year round and gives breathtaking views over the town towards the Sea. With over 20km of wide, sandy beaches, some pebble beaches for rock-pooling, Denia is also famed for its snorkelling and diving opportunities. For walkers, the Montgo national park is a recognised area of outstanding natural beauty and is easily accessible from the town. Near to other interesting towns e.g. Javea, Calpe, Altea (each offering a lovely day out on the train, by car, or even boat, Denia is by far the best holiday destination in the area, offering all you could possibly want on your doorstep in a beautiful, living, working Spanish town.

A great place to spend 14 days

This property is ideally situated approx 10 minutes walk from the main town of Denia. It has all you need for a great holiday although the kitchen is not well equipped if you are intending to self cater. The pool and surrounding gardens are excellently maintained and peaceful throughout the day. There is a siesta time when the pool is not supposed to be used. Providing that you observe the Spanish culture and swim quietly there seems to be no issue really.
Denia has a plethora of outstanding restaurants and Tapas bars, it is an absolute joy to sit out in the evening and enjoy wonderful Spanish food and and wine in the company of Spanish people. Not a karaoke bar or bingo to be found anywhere in this lovely part of Spain nor will you see the parade of English football shirts that are so evident in Benidorm and the like. We will be back again as there is so much to explore. Hope to book this property again as it ticks all the boxes for us

fantastic holiday house

6 of us (three couples) had a really great holiday. The house is in a great location - we walked to restaurants (try the ones on the beach, esp for lunch and sundowners) bars and the beach and had great evenings sitting around the pool and going into Denia - what a lovely town! The house is lovely - very clean, had everything we needed and plenty of room for all of us. we were looked after really well and have kept in touch with the couple looking after the house (mum and dad stayed in Sept and loved it too) - we're going back Sumer 09 and can't wait. 10 ot of 10!!

Wonderful place!!!

We came from Germany and really enjoyed our holidays in Denia! The owner was very nice and helped us when we needed her.
Everything was so great: the beautiful house with three bathrooms, the garden with the swimming pool, palms and banana trees - excellent!
We bought our food in the near supermarket, spent much time on the beach and went shopping in Denia city. There are also nice restaurants with best sangria in the world!
There was just one thing we did not like: everybody has to make siesta from 1 untill 5 p.m. so you cannot swim in the pool in this time. We have two little children and it was sometimes difficult, because they do not sleep in that time.
So we went to the beach or made other things.
The good thing is you can use the pool untill midnight, so it is ideal for families with older children.
Of course we left the house clean and say again thank you for a wonderful holiday!

the worst was service

The women who care about hause and gasts was not so helpfull and nice. The worst was first impression. She give us not deposit back. But hause and place is very nice.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: These people turned up at midnight on a Sunday (they were expected at 3pm), not having telephoned to say they would be late (the flight was on time), and then expected transport through town to the property (there were 6 people) even though they had clear directions and a map. They then lost the keys to the property and it cost €120 to change the locks. They also left the house in a very dirty condition, with rubbish left in the kitchen. I felt I had every right to withhold refund of the €100 deposit, which is the first time I have ever decided not to refund a security deposit. I believe this is the main reason why they have decided to post a negative review as they seemed perfectly happy when they were leaving. I shall think very hard before renting to groups of young people again.
