What a spectacular setting! We enjoyed many mornings on the patio, looking out at the beautiful Caribbean, sipping a brew of java. Life doesn't get much better than what we experienced at Nettle Bay. The apartment was clean and so much better than staying at a hotel or a resort. Much more private and serene. Although the kitchen was fully equipped, we decided to experience the French cusine at the local restaurants and found the best ones located in Grand Case. I found the acommodations to be quiet and peaceful, sleeping like a log the 7 nights we were there.

The apartment is located close to several beautiful beaches and Marigot is a ten minute drive away. We preferred the beauty of the French side and found it to be much less congested and touristy than the Dutch side. We explored the island, snorkeling and floating our cares away at a different beach each day. The water was wonderful. Warm and cystal clear. I want to go back and I would in a flash if I could.
