The set of a scene from the Odyssey and a land crossed by Grand Tour poets, the Sorrento Peninsula is a magical place enriched with history and plus nature that encompasses one of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy. We are 40 km south of Naples, on the area enclosing the Gulf with a rocky, tufa cliff that hangs over the blue sea of Sorrento and which slopes in Punta Campanella, the enchanting headland that divides the Gulf of Naples from the Gulf of Salerno. Capri is there, where the sound of the sea divides the Punta from Faraglioni Island; this side of the Sorrento coast has lots of areas set amongst these cliffs which are famous around the world for their beauty, mild year round climate, lemons and friendly people. These areas are Vico Equense, Sorrento and Massa Lubrense. The other side of the Sorrento peninsula, on the Amalfi coast, offers the famous and fashionable Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. The most privileged place to stay to discover these areas is a wonderful castle!

In the bedroom there is a large double bed. in the sitting room there are a sofabed ( 2 single beds ), a table for 4 and the open kitchen. Between the 2 rooms there are only the stairs, without a door. A large window shows the garden-parking of the castle from the first floor. But from September till June there is very few people in the castle except during some marriage. If You would like to fight against some mosquitoes I give You some lethal weapon :-) There is in the castle a secular wooden park and a monumental terrace overlooking the wonderful gulf of Naples and the volcano Vesuvius. You will come at your risk. Pompeii is very near too. See you :-) From Easter there are shared pool, and private beach linked by lift in summer into the castle. Terrace and garden are shared too.Several apts available. The castle is in the medieval centre of Vico Equense town, that's very clean and pretty. Vico Equense is ideally located in the centre of amalfi coast ( sorrento peninsula ).See You!
