This family home lies on three floors and is well-equipped to make your stay more pleasurable. It has 2 main bedrooms and a shower room on the top floor, the kitchen and dining room are on the middle floor. There are views of the Pyrenees from the dining room window. The ground floor has a comfortable sitting room , play room and toilet. There is a tv, video and dvd player along with washing machine and tumble dryer in the house. There are also a high chair and travel cot for babies along with useful items such as plastic plates, cups, blender, etc to help with catering for small children. All linen and towels are included in the price. Also, there is no need to clean the property at the end of your stay as this is also included. The house opens out onto the market square which takes place every Saturday and is central to this lively, beautifull village. There are electric storage heaters on each floor for the colder months and shutters to keep the heat out in the Summer.

Ceret is a traditional French village set in the heart of beautiful Pyranees with lots of local festivals throughout the year. There are numerous restaurants in Ceret many of them are less than 5 minutes walk. During July and August the local outdoor swimming pool is open (20 minutes walk, 5 minutes drive) and also Aqualand at St Cyprien, 45 minutes drive. There is a beautiful lake at St Jean Plat de Courts - just 15 minutes drive - where you can swim in the Summer and fish all year round. Spain is just 20 minutes drive away and the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Lyon just 30 minutes drive. The Saturday market thrives and is an attraction for many miles around, particularly in the Summer, you have this right on your doorstep at the house. Carcassonne can be reached by road, approx. 1.5 hours and Barcelona can be reached by rail/car for great days out. Also, the mountains are on the door step and would be ideal for cyclists and walkers for those wanting a more adventurous stay

Notes: There is an Electric Wall Heater on each floor. Parking is available in the market square (other than on market day) but is not designated to the house. It is possible to sit outside although there is no garden. There is a bench outside the sitting room window and there are 2 beech garden chairs which can be used to sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying an early evening drink.
