The Country House is situated in the region of South Brittany, overlooking the sea close to the fishing village of Port-Manech, which lies between the towns of Lorient and Quimper. Built in an architectural style typical of this region, this free-standing granite house sits on more than an acre of private ground in a secluded spot bordered by a pine forest. The Country House is located 50 yards from the coast, 150 yards from a sandy beach and one mile from the nearest marina. The nearby village of Nevéz is just three miles away, and has a supermarket and a variety of shops. Nearby is Pont-Aven--a lovely small town which was home of the Gauguin painting school in the last century, and where there are many artist's shops and a supermarket. Roscoff is one-hour's drive away and it is a two-hour drive to St. Malo. Within easy reach are Concarneau, Benodet, Pont-l'Abbé, Pouldu, Lorient, Quiberon, Isle of Groix, Belle-ile, etc. There are marinas and many sightseeing attractions in the area, and of course a wonderful coast with many beaches.

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, vor allem das riesige Grundstück, die große Terrasse und der einzigartige Blick auf das Meer haben uns begeistert. Das Haus selbst ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hat alles was man so braucht. Das 3. Schlafzimmer ist jedoch eine Galerie und nach unten offen. Es ist sehr sauber und auch unser Hund hat sich hier wohl gefühlt. Man kommt vom Grundstück direkt auf einen Fußweg der an der Küste entlag zu einem kleinen Strand führt. Man ist auf dem Grundstück total ungestört und durch die höher gelegene Lage vor Einblicken geschützt. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem Haus! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist vor allem in der Vorsaison sehr gut.
