There are several ski areas near by, The nearest is only 10 miles away. There are several within an hours drive.
We have a lot of facilities for sailing rafting etc, look at Ariege to see more about that - ask us for details. The nearest airports are Carcassonne, Toulouse, Perpignan.
Much of Ariège is mountainous--with its 10 ski stations it can satisfy skiers of every level, from the beginner to lovers of extreme skiing. And the biggest cross-country ski station in the Pyrenees, the Plateau de Beille, offers excellent snow conditions well into spring.
You don't have to put on skis to enjoy the Pyrenees in the winter. Snowshoeing is the fastest-growing winter sport in France, and can be practiced wherever there is snow on the ground. With 'raquettes à neige' on your feet you can explore places you couldn't reach any other way.
Private pool :
There is a lovely new pool and nice places in the garden to relax. The garden is about 5.200m2, with fruit trees
and other big trees for shadow in the summer.
History:
There is a lot of history in the area. Just to mention a few - Cathar, Religion, Crusades, Castles, Abbeys, Citadels and Canal du Midi.
The wine road to the Meditteranien, is a very nice road.
1/3 of all wine in France is from this area.
nice area for wine taste.! the famos languedoc-Roussillon wines come from this area between Perpignan and Montpellier.

The nearest ski lift is about 15 km away. There are also several other lifts within half an hour and one hour drive.

Golf:
Situated in the heart of the Ariège pyrenees in a setting of exceptional beauty, the Ariège Golf Club which was designed by Michel Gayon, offers an eighteen hole golf course of an astonishing variety that combines both agreable playing conditions and which is also technically demanding.
There is also six hole short course that serves as a pitch and putt. A practice area is available with tenty-six mats of which six are weather-protected. An approach green can be found in the practice area and a putting green is next to the clubhouse.
