Arranged on 3 floors with excellent level of comfort with fittings and equipment of a high standard. The bedrooms are on the top floor - bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed, bedroom 2 has a double and single and bedroom 3 has three single beds. Separate WC and bathroom with 2 sinks. Open-plan first floor with underfloor heating has a spacious lounge with comfortable leather sofas (one converts to a double bed), a dining table with wooden table and chairs for up to 10 people. A large sunny terrace runs along the length of the sitting and dining room affording splendid views across the valley. There is also a large shower room with bidet and basin and a separate WC on this floor. The very well equipped kitchen has a built in fridge freezer, ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee machine and toaster. Downstairs by the main entrance is the boot room with washing machine and a second fridge/ freezer and access to to the double garage to unload into chalet.

The Skiing

Morillon is one of the 5 resorts that are part of the Grand Massif ski area with 77 lifts and 265 km of pistes. There are 15 Green pistes, 53 Blue, 51 Red and 14 Black offering something for all ages and abilities. The village's complex of 9 lifts links directly into Flaine, Samoens and Les Carroz. There are also extensive off-piste opportunities. Snowboarders also have a choice of 3 different terrain parks.

A Family Resort

Morillon holds the official 'Famille Plus Montagne' label for its superb children's facilities. It is now famous as the home of Antoine Deneriaz, who won the Gold Medal in the Men's Downhill at the Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006. The Morillon Tourist Office arranges a winter programme of activities and entertainment including weekly torchlight descents, concerts, food and wine tasting.

The Village Facilities

There is a selection of bars and restaurants, shops including butchers and bakers and a mini supermarket within easy walking distance of the chalet and the large Champion supermarket is only a 5 minute drive. There is also a weekly market. There are also several shops offering ski hire. The village of Samoens is only a few minutes drive away offering a further selection of bars, restaurants and shops and Samoens has its own weekly market too.
