Just returned from a stay in these apartments in April 2008. What a lovely break we had. The apartments were of a very high standard and are accurately described with all the amenities you would need for a very pleasant vacation. The apartments felt to be very new and are furbished to a high standard, well maintained and were very clean on our arrival. The location is ideal with Los Boliches train station being a short walk directly down the road (very cheap transport) and a supermarket located directly across the street. We couldn't believe our luck!! One thing to note that the Supermarket is closed on a Sunday so buy in all your groceries the day before! The apartment has a beautiful pool which the owner calls "his little piece of paradise" this is a fitting way to describe it, very peaceful and seen as all the apartments are not all used daily then it wasn't noisey or busy, very tranquil and relaxing.
The owner himself and his wife were most helpful during our booking and then giving us the appropriate information and answering our questions, they couldn't have been more helpful.
I would most definitely recommend this property to a friend and have done already.
During our visit the weather was not great some of the time but thankfully the apartment had English cable TV and a DVD player so we managed to keep ourselves entertained and would recommend hiring a car and visiting the villages nearby of Mijas - beautifully set up in the hillside fantastic views and true Spanish village, Ronda- up inland, lovely village with Spains oldest Bullfighting ring, Puerto Banus- fabulous shops and beautiful Port. While staying there we visited Los Boliches beach which was very clean and the sun loungers were the most comfortable I have felt, it made sunbathing even more enjoyable!!
We dined in Fuengirola mostly (only a 15/20 minute walk along the Promenade), on a street just off from the from Promenade, we very much enjoyed Ma Mammia's Italian restaurant but on our last night came across the restaurant La Casa Rustica, it was a great way to finish our holiday. The food was outstanding! I have to say that it was the best Peppercorn Sauce I have ever tasted! The service as great, very friendly and the Sangria they made was delightful. It was a great way to end our holiday if only we had came across it sooner!
Overall our stay was a lovely one during off season time, when things are quieter and could be enjoyed more, would definitely go back again.
