Our stay at Villa Bonita

My wife, daughter, granddaughter and I have just returned from a really enjoyable week's holiday at Villa Bonita, Calonge.
We found the villa to be in a really peaceful and secluded setting and that it more than matched the comprehensive description given by the owners.
The gardens are well kept with a wide variety of plants and flowers and our 5 year old granddaughter enjoyed playing on the grassed area which is well enclosed, level and provides a safe play area.
The pool is excellent and the 1 metre shallow end makes it ideal for young children to gain confidence and to learn to swim - the water was warm and by the end of our stay our granddaughter was well on the way to learning how to swim.
We used the Barbecue and it worked really well, lots of outdoor seating and eating areas - you are spoiled for choice.
Indoors the kitchen was well equipped, well stocked with crockery - you really do not need to bring anything. Lots of hot water.
The villa was well presented inside and the English TV channels were a real bonus.
A nice touch on arrival was a supply of tea, coffee and milk and a large bottle of mineral water.
The key safe made collecting and returning the keys really easy - we have previously rented villas where you have difficulty locating the key holding agents who may have restricted opening hours.
Contact with the owners was first class - e-mail questions were quickly answered and we also spoke on the phone.
Directions to the villa were excellent - but if you have a Satnav using the address makes it foolproof.
I asked my granddaughter if there was anything she wanted to say - she said the pool was great and are we going back next year. I have told her yes we are and hope to book next year.
