Chalet of 1767 completely renovated in 2007 in a pleasant style, very cosy. Special sunny and peaceful place with a typical neighbourhood in a car-free village at 1800 m.o.s. Many activities in winter as well in summer. Skiing all yearlong. 4 floors with 270 Sqm. Big living-room with large TV, kitchen fully equiped with bar, separate dining-room for 12-14 people. 6 bedrooms, 4 shower rooms or bathrooms with WC , wardrobes. Many amenities in kitchen with electric oven, micro-waves oven, dish washing machine, kettle, toaster,... Terrace equiped with chairs and barbecue. Laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron place. From September 2008: Sauna with wellness shower Special free heated ski room near slopes for overnight. Transport with electrical taxi first and last day included with ski transport to ski room.   * TRANSFER BY ELEKTRO-TAXI first and last day including to ski room at the ski-lifts.
  * Use of private ski room next to the slopes.
  * USE OF WELLNESS SPACE WITH SAUNA (Nordic or Bio): from DECEMBER 2008.
  
• NOT INCLUDED:
  * TOURIST TAX: 11.- EUR per adult per week and
  5.50 EUR per child (6 - 16) per week
  A tourist card has to be filled in the first day and allows some offers (like parking reductions)
  * EXTRA PERSON: 35 EUROS per week
  * EXTRA SERVICES (special deliveries, cleaning lady, elektro-taxi on request)

History

The Chalet Klaudia lies on the old mule path that, before, linked Saas Fee to the Saas Valley. The house was the first on at the entrance of the village before the first car road was built. The Chalet Klaudia built in 1767, is the last antique building owning to the historical 'Old Saas Fee.' It is part of a typical old area with 3 'mazots', kind of tiny chalets used before for cattle and hay. Its meticulous restoration started in 2004 and ended in 2007. It preserved the charm with antique wood, stoves and traditional old style of Wallisalps.

Comfort

With all modern comfort (5*), the luxurious fitting out (more than 260 m2), is typical with partially antique furnitures, a cosy atmosphere where everyone feels well in a quiet alpine site. The Chalet is built on the Wildi area that enjoys a special sunny time any time in the year (square T5 on Saas Fee map). The view is both on the Allalin glaciers and in the Saas Valley. The parking place is at 5 minutes by foot and the centre of the village at 10 min.

Amenities

The bedrooms are all furnished with antique charm and cautionly prepared to welcome our guests. Bed are romantically prepared with bath towels for everyone. 2 babies beds and 2 baby dining chairs are available on request. The large kitchen is planned for a 'a big family' : fridge, freezer, dish-washer, cooking stove, 5 hot plates, micro-waves stove, electrical kettle, coffee machine, toaster, raclette/grill stove for table, domestic robot, various cupboards, dishes for 18 people (more on request), various big pans and bowls, kitchen linen. Wireless ADSL-internet connection is available everywhere in the house. 2 plasma TV (a big one in the sittingroom and a small one in the upper floor under the roof, for kids ...) with DVD player, as well as a music-radio installation (also for USB and I-pod) are available too.

Skiing Information:

Skiing in Saas-Fee all yearlong except from 5th May to 15th June!! The ski-lifts are at 15 minutes walk but you can also use a small bus, the bus stop is at 50 meters. A private heated ski room, where you can leave your skis overnight, is available (for free) at the foot of the slopes and ski-lifts. Our taxi service brings your ski equipment the first day and brings it back the last day. Ski / snowboard schools for kids and adults next to the ski room and ski-lifts.
