Our house is part of the lovely Fuentemar Complex, with its well maintained gardens and superb pools. You will find ceiling fans and air conditioning in all the main rooms. The kitchen area has all the equipment required for a perfect holiday, this includes a fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron/ ironing board, microwave, hob and oven. The lounge has 2 comfortable sofas, one of which converts into a double bed. There is also a full size table and chairs & rocking chair for you to sit back and relax. There is a TV with SKY for the English Channels. The bedrooms are nicely furnished. The bathroom is fully equipped and includes a full sized bath with overhead shower. There is a great roof terrace with views of the surrounding mountains for sunbathing & enjoying that glass of sangria. The pools are one minute from the house, with a separate pool for the little ones. The house is close to a variety of restaurants and has many attractions close by including some of the best golf in Spain.

Notes to the rental rates

• A deposit of 25% (non-refundable) is required to confirm the booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before your arrival date. DAMAGES: a returnable deposit of £100 must be paid with the final balance. Cost of any missing items or damage i.e. loss of sofa will be deducted from the deposit. We don't mean a broken cup or plate. The deposit will be returned to you within two weeks of your departure if there are no missing items like a TV or washing machine or damage. Gratefully, all our guests so far have been very considerate and have left our house as it was when they arrived. If when you arrive something is not working or broken, you must let us know asap. We are proud of our house and want to keep it as welcoming and hospitable as possible. Discounted rates can be arranged for long Winter lets.
  
• Directions to the property and directions on picking up the keys will be forwarded once your final payment has been received. We are always looking to improve our house to visitors and all comments will be gratefully received. We would be grateful for all your comments on your stay to be left on for others to read. We DO NOT charge extra for cleaning the house. We trust that you wont leave it in a mess and that you respect the effort we have put in to making the house as comfortable as possible. We have it cleaned after every guest anyway. We have tried very hard to make our house a home from home, with some touches to make sure you wont want for anything. All we ask is that you respect it and try not to damage anything.
  
• Our nearest airport is Almeria which is only 55 mins from Mojacar. Door to door, There are also regular flights into Murcia (1hour 15mins), Alicante (1hour 45mins) and Granada (2hours). All theses airports are served by a variety of low cost airlines. A full list can be found on our external website. Car hire is recommended during your stay, but there are taxis at the airports and public transport in the Garrucha area.

Things to do & See

About 5 minutes drive from the house is a great Aquapark, brilliant for children and adults of any age. Around 10 minutes drive is Mojacar village, a quaint Moorish village. With it's cobbled streets and white washed houses it has spectacular views. For all you cowboy buffs Mini Hollywood Theme Park is about 45 minutes away, a wild west town is recreated with shows, cowboy museum, restaurants, a zoo with an array of animals. This is where A Fistful of Dollars was filmed along with other famous westerns. Close by at Vera Town is the Vera Bull Ring, this is a historical bull fighting ring, you will have a guided tour by an ex-matador, who revels in his description of this event. There are still bull fights held here today Around 2 hours away after a picturesque ride, is the magnificent city of Granada where you can marvel at the world famous Alhambra Palace, and enjoy the Moorish city itself.

Golf Information:

Garrucha now has several top quality golf courses nearby. Valle del Este, an 18-hole PGA golf course, has been carefully designed along the lines of the courses in the American desert of Arizona and California paying careful attention to every detail and integrating the course into the surrounding landscape to combine holes that represent a real challenge to the player. Undoubtedly this has been designed to play host to Championship events. The views are stunning but don’t let them affect your concentration as very few wayward shots are forgiven. It has its own beach club, restaurant, bar and pool, which is situated directly on the unspoilt Vera Beach. Desert Springs, the PGA overseas home, designed by successful Walker Cup captain, Peter McEvoy, is the only desert course in Europe, located between Villaricos and Cuaves de Almanzora. One is either on lush fairway or chipping back into position from the rugged desert terrain. The Popular Marina Golf is a 5 minute drive away.
