Beautiful beach front villa with secluded tropical garden. Situated between Bridgetown and Holetown, close to West Coast shops, hotels and restaurants. There is a gate from the garden directly onto a sandy beach from where you can SNORKEL and may even see turtles. There are 2 KAYAKS. The accommodation is arranged on 2 floors. On the FIRST FLOOR the wide veranda houses the sitting room where you can relax on comfortable sofas, and watch spectacular sunsets over the sea. The main dining room and fully equiped kitchen extend through the centre of the house There are 4 en-suite bedrooms; 2 have doors onto the veranda. On the GROUND FLOOR there is a games room with SATELLITE TV, POOL TABLE & TABLE FOOTBALL.and the 5th luxury en-suite bedroom,with doors opening onto the garden. All the rooms have fans, with A/C in the bedrooms.The house is decorated with tasteful soft furnishings and Barbados antiques COOK,HOUSEKEEPER& GARDENER are employed to look after guests.

La Paloma Beach Villa is situated approximately half way between Bridgetown and Holetown, in Fitts Village. The famous Cliff Restaurant in less than half a mile to the North and Sandy Lane and many of the luxurious West Coast hotels and restaurants are a short drive away. Jordans supermarket where most basic commodities can be bought is a 5 minute walk. There is a large supermarket and Gourmet Dele in Holetown. Most of the night life occurs along the South Coast, but young family members can easily get Taxis through-out the night to St Lawrence Gap or Harbour Lights in Brigdetown. New visitors to the Island will be surprised at the wealth of things to do on the Island. Hiring a car to see the Atlantic coast and a visit to the Plantation houses which are open to the public is highly recommended.

  • VAT is an additional charge of 7.5%. A cook/housekeeper and maid/laundress are employed to look after guests. They will prepare,cook and serve two meals a day. They also keep the house clean, make beds etc.

  • Four of the bedrooms are on the first floor. All open onto the spacious, vaulted, central area which acts as a dining room. The Master bedroom has double doors which open onto the balcony and views of the sea. The second bedroom also has doors onto the balcony/sitting room. The two single beds can be made up as an extra large double bed. The bedroom downstairs is tastefully decorated and has its own ensuite bathroom with large storage cupboards for clothing. All have ceiling fans and A/C.

Notes: The house is ideal for two families holidaying together, but would also suite a group of friends. The staff will prepare the majority of the meals allowing all the guests to have a relaxing holiday. The main sitting room is upstairs on the veranda overlooking the sea. The games room on the ground floor has a pool table and table foot ball , it is also furnished with sofas and a TV. As well as the main dining room upstairs, there is a table outside downstairs which seats 8-10 and a barbecue. The whole family could eat downstairs if one of the members could not manage the stairs. There are 10 sunloungers in the garden and 2 kayaks for the use of guests. Children's cots, highchairs etc can be arranged in advance. There is a laundry/ maids room with bathroom on the ground floor. Smoking is not allowed in the bedrooms, dining room or kitchen. There is a beautiful enclosed tropical garden which has a gate opening onto the beach.

Golf: Barbados has several World renowned Golf Courses including Sandy Lane and the Royal Westmorland.

Cars and transport: Although the local buses are good and run frequently, we would advise hiring a car during your stay. You will then be able to tour the island. The car is best booked in advance especially at busy times of year e.g. Christmas. The car can either be delivered to the house or the car hire company will meet you at the airport with the car. There is off street parking for up to 4 cars.

Other Activities: Snorkeling, horse-riding, surfing and windsurfing are also available on the island

This is a superb villa suiting both adults and children. We had 8 adults and 4 children in our party and the two weeks we spent here were wonderful. The staff are great and with a secure garden we were able to make a sand pit and paddling pool in the shade and safety. Our ages varied from 3 weeks to 62 years!! There is a supermarket just down the road who will deliver your shopping free of charge and if you enjoy the yellow bus rides - bus stops just along the road! The only complaint we have is that the 2
weeks went too quickly!! We would not hesitate to rent this comfortable and well equiped villa again. John and Ros - Cheshire UK
