There are several restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the complex. The picturesque fishing village of Alvor is 1.4km away and has a wonderful atmosphere, with pretty promenades, street cafe's, excellent restaurants and interesting shops. The local bus service to Alvor and Portimão passes outside the complex. Faro Airport is 45 minutes by car. Portimão Marina and Praia da Rocha, both 5km away, are popular locations, with plenty of restaurants, bars, discos and a casino. The breathtakingly beautiful sandy beaches in the Western Algarve are amongst the finest in Europe. Praia do Alvor is about 1km away and Praia do Rocha and Praia do Vau are just 3km away; with restaurants nestling in the sculptured cliffs, they offer a perfect setting for a memorable day out. Golfing enthusiasts have an excellent choice of courses. The nearest is Alto Golf in Alvor (1km) and Penina (7km), both designed by Sir Henry Cotton. Quinta Morgado is on the Monchique Road and Boavista golf course is in Lagos.
