'Corte Campedella' is a beautiful prestigious complex located amongst the vineyards in Bande, Cavriana - on one of the 10 wine and food roads of Lombardy: 'La Strada dei Vini e Sapori Mantovani' and hence a paradise for lovers of Italian food and wine. The condominium consists of only 12 privately owned apartments in the peaceful Morainic hills just a 15 minute drive from Sirmione, Lake Garda. The building was owned by the Gonzaga family from the end of the 13th to the start of the 18th century. These recently renovated spacious, self-catering, apartments (4A and 5A) (130 sq. metres and 100 sq. metres respectively) are on 2 levels (1st and 2nd floors) and are an ideal location for family holidays as they are situated in private grounds accessed by an electronic security gate. There is a beautiful communal garden with swimming pool, Sunloungers, gazebo and table and chairs. These adjacent apartments are ideal for families wishing to holiday together but maintain their privacy.

Bedroom 1 overlooks the Morainic hills and has a king size bed. There are wooden stairs to a private galleried mezzanine area. En-suite shower room to bedroom 1 with shower, wash hand basin, WC and bidet. Bedroom 2 overlooks the communal garden and has 2 single beds. There is a sofa bed in the living room that sleeps 2. En-suite shower room to bedroom 2 with shower, wash hand basin, WC and bidet. Well furnished kitchen with eye-level electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, tea towels and all necessary cutlery and cooking utensils. The large extendable dining table seats 6 comfortably. Living room: There is a TV, TV unit, DVD player, CD/cassette recorder, 2 coffee tables, one 3 seater sofa bed (sleeps 2), a 2 seater sofa and an armchair. All windows have wooden shutters and all rooms have wooden beamed ceilings. Insect nets are fitted to all windows.

The local church and pizzeria in Bande are a 5 minute walk from the apartment. You can visit, by foot, local vineyards which offer wine tasting. To entertain the children there are plenty of days out to choose from. Gardaland, Italy's largest and most famous theme park suitable for all the family. Caneva World, 2 Theme Parks in 1: a Marine Theme Park and Water Park. You can also visit Parco Natura Viva, a Wildlife Park in Pastrengo. Other attractive towns around the lake that are easily accessible by car include: Desenzano, Lazise, Bardolino, Garda, Peschiera, Malcesine, Salo and Riva Del Garda. Verona is only 30 minutes away by car. Verona 2008 Opera Season 20 June - 31 August 2008. Why not visit the Romeo and Juliet balcony. Venice is a 1.5 hour drive away - 2008 Venice Carnival 25 January - 5 February 2008. Milan is a 2 hour drive. Skiing is possible on Monte Baldo, Malcesine only an hour's drive from the apartment.

    A breakage/security deposit of £150 is payable with final payment at least 8 weeks before arrival.
    The rental rates include gas, water, electricity and cleaning before arrival and after departure.

We've just arrived back safely in the UK after a fantastic break in Italy and I just wanted to say a big 'thank-you' to you for providing such a wonderful haven of peace and quiet for our brief stay. The apartment was just superb in every way and so tastefully and comfortably renovated. It was just the perfect base for our trip and everything was provided for our comfort, which is not always the case! So, once again, many, many thanks and rest assured that we would like to return there some day very soon, space permitting.
