Golf: Ideally located for golfers with a selection of quality courses within a pitch and putt including Desert Springs, Europe's first desert golf course ,Valle del Este & Marina de la Torre:- Desert Springs has it all: great course design, incredible service & facilities. The most surprising thing whilst you are on the course is the tranquility. The natural surroundings of the desert environment coupled with the extraordinary guaranteed weather makes this an excellent choice. The Championship course at Valle del Este near Vera has been carefully designed to combine holes that are challenging, with others less strenuous. The course is only a few years old, but has already established itself as one of the finest in the region. Marina de la Torre, between Garrucha & Mojacar includes 3 strategically situated lakes, small raised tees on platforms surrounded by volcanic rock, wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea & colourful desert like landscape make it quite spectacular.

Small Exclusive Complex: Security gated entrance with inetrcom and remote opening to a an exclusive development of only 20 properties, having the use of 2 swimming pools with poolside showers and WC's.

Getting There: Although Almeria airport is less than 1 hours drive away from Palomares, both Murcia & Alicante are within 2 & 3 hours respectively. Car hire is a good idea and all airports have good facilities.

Golf: Ideally located as a central base for golfers with a selection of quality courses all within putting distance including the renowned Desert Springs, Europe's first desert golf course & Valle del Este.

We found this apartment to be everything it said in the details on the website. The apartment was very comfortable it had everything needed fully equipped kitchen facilities etc, lovely patio area from lounge and fantastic roof terrace perfect for topping up the tan. The apartment was lovely and clean with plenty of extra bedding if needed. We were there in April, probably classed out of season and the pool cleaners were still there keeping the pool clean. From the book full of tips of what’s going on in the region left in the apartment we decided to go for a Chinese meal which was very good value for money and as you walk out very full, they give you a free bottle of wine. There were also maps to help you get about to the local Markets, as well as finding some fantastic beaches along the coast. We found this apartment the perfect base to see some great scenery and have a totally relaxed chilled out week. If a negative is to be found it is that you need to hire a car as you are in a village location for us it was a plus because we saw so much of the region and found the best beaches. Thank you Dave and Marie we had a fantastic week and we will definitely go back. All the best John and Elaine
