Self-catering apartment with private terrace, shared pool and secure parking

Our modern luxury apartment is located in the fabulous Marina d'Or holiday resort at Oropesa del Mar, approximately 45 minutes drive north of Valencia airport. On the first floor overlooking the pool, the spacious apartment comprises lounge/diner, kitchen, two bedrooms, en-suite bathroom, second bathroom, a spacious terrace and underground car parking. The kitchen is complete with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. There is heating and air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom. A fan and electric heater are provided in the second bedroom. The apartment also has a DVD player and satellite television. There is a lift to all floors. The enclosed communal pool (June to September)has a separate children's pool and toilet facilities. There is also a children's play area at ground level. The apartment is located in a quiet position with the beach only 250 metres away and all the other resort attractions are within a 10 minute walk.

Marina d'Or and the surrounding area has something for everyone. A beautiful sandy beach, tropical gardens, the largest seawater spa in europe, superb sports facilities and two childrens adventure parks are all situated in Marina d'Or. The picturesque seaside town of Oropesa del Mar is only 2 km away. In nearbye Benicassim there is go-karting and a waterpark and a little further away is the lovely city of Castellon with its orange tree lined avenues, shops, museums and lively port area. Other nearbye tourist attractions all within driving distance are the wooded hills of Desierto de Las Palmas popular with walkers, the longest navigable underground river in europe Grutas de San José, and the walled mountain village of Morella. In addition there are many interesting spanish villages and other seaside resorts in the area. There are also two golf courses wthin a short drive away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • There is a supplement of €250 for rentals over Easter and the Christmas periods.

    Rental ratesare fully inclusive of electricity, gas, bed linen, towels (not for use on the beach) and final cleaning of the apartment on departure.

    A deposit of 20% is payable on booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. There is a 75 Euro reduction per week for second and subsequent weeks.

    For rentals of more than 7 nights, a change of bed linen and towels will be provided at additional cost of 35 Euro payable locally on arrival. This must be requested at the time of booking.

    A refundable deposit of 150 Euro against damage and breakages is required with final payment.

Childrens Activities: Marin d'Or is a great place for children. There is the Pequemundo Playground, where tired parents can leave their toddlers to play while taking a well earned rest. Mundo Fantasía, has many attractions for youngsters from the most modern to the traditional favourites. The park is surrounded by a castle wall and figures decorate the rides. It also has a 3D cinema with its amazing images, interactive moving seats and spectacular sound effects, which offers a unique experience.For older children, Parque Aventura d'Or has quads on a rally-style racetrack, a huge slide measuring over 50 m, an obstacle course with a series of zipwires and bridges, and rock-climbing wall. It also has a number of spectacular rides including Discóloco, Caida Libre, Jumping, Hidrolift and Batidora.

Supermarket and bakery: There is large Supermercado approximately 500 m walking distance from the apartment, and a bakery just across the road where you can buy freshly made bread a pastries daily.

For the golf enthusiast there are 5 golf courses in the area. The Panoramica Golf & Country Club is approximately 45 minutes away in San Jorge. and the Club de Golf Escorpion and Club de Golf El Bosque near Valencia are little more than an hours drive away.

A perfect apartment

We enjoyed our stay and the apartment was perfect and had everything you will need for your stay. Unfortunately, because of the time we visited Marina D'or , the resort was very quiet with very little open but we would love to see the area in the summer. While booking the apartment the owners were very helpful and answered all queries quickly. Would recommend this to friends....but maybe only for the the busier months.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Nice Comfortable Place

Apartment is very comfortable, equipped with everything you need, including books and tapes for entertainment. It was delivered in excellent condition, clean, with supply of extra towels. Check in and out process was smooth and easy. Underground parking is very secure. We enjoyed our stay.

A summer week in Oropesa

My husband, my daughter and I spent a nice time in Oropesa this summer. The appartment was very nice and well-equiped. It was very quiet and comfortable. We used the terrasse very much. The beach was near, with easy acces and the swimming pool was really good. We recommend it.
