Vale do Lobo holiday villa

We always have a great time at Phil's. Location is superb and the villa is roomy and you get a lovely lived in feel with this villa, also, you really feel comfort to sit back and relax, with a nice Barbeque on the front terrace watching the world go by. A hot tub on the roof terrace would just finish off this superb villa. The plunge pool at the back is perfect for cooling off in the day or in the v. hot evenings - our kids loved it. Also, Barringtons is just down the road if you want a bigger pool for the more serious and fun loving swimmer. If you like tennis this villa is perfect with the tennis court/academy opposite and a very tasty ken lo's top quailty restaurant adjacent. The praca is only a short courtsey bus away which has an abundance of quality restaurants we love it down there although it can be quite pricey, but well worth the visit, especially in the evening with live music for the kids to dance to around the square...also you can get beautiful view on the sea front whilst tucking into some traditional or oriental food etc etc... I could go on and on... great holiday and will go back there time and time again...

We had the perfect week's holiday at this Vale do Lobo townhouse. It was exactly as described on the web. It was easy to collect the keys,the beds were all made and the fridge was stocked. The location is perfect for the tennis centre, the beach and Barringtons. We have two young children and the set-up was ideal for them, which meant that it was for us too! It was quiet at night, and yet everything was in easy reach. The chalet had a relaxed feel and wasn't too formal for the younger ones. It was well equipped with everything we needed. We'd definitely recommend it to others, and use it again ourselves.

I can not say enough good things about this break. The accomodation was great and exactly what we are looking for. However, when staying in this resort people need to remember firstly that a car is an absoloute necessity and secondly that the restaurants can be pricey. However, there is a great barbecue in the house and a fantastic supermarket in the local town (Almancil) that has great quality meat and fish.

The homeowners where absoloutely great and even offered to have food etc provided on arrival. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble which was great. There were cold drinks and beers ready when we got there. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need - sky, dvd, splash pool etc. I would not hesitate to return again. Overall a fantastic place and good value for money.
