Notes to the rental rates

• Prices are in UK pounds and are per property. Long weekends (minimum 4 nights), typically Friday 4pm to Tuesday 10am will be considered September through to June at approximately 75% of advertised weekly rates, subject to availability. Min stay of 1 week stay during July and August. £25 Discount for booking of 2 consecutive weeks. Payments to be received in UK Pounds only.

• Please note our changeover day is FRIDAY. The apartment will be ready by 4pm on the day of arrival and we ask that you vacate the apartment by 10am on day of departure.
  
• The balance of your total holiday cost is payable no less than 8 weeks before your scheduled arrival date. £100 deposit secures your booking, with the balance of the agreed holiday rental due no less than 8 weeks before your holiday commences and a further £100 refundable security deposit payable 4 weeks prior to your holiday. If a booking is made within 8 weeks of the scheduled arrival date, then the full price is payable upon booking.
  The rental excludes bed linen (bring your own or hire through us - £8 per bed set) and includes a 100 KWH electricity allowance per week (70 KWH per 4 night long weekend). The security deposit is refunded upon return of the key at the end of your holiday. Time of arrival 4pm / Time of departure 10 am.

Regional Attractions

The regional capital of Caen is 30 minutes drive away where you can visit the thought provoking Le Memorial de Caen (remembrance of World War II), William the Conqueror's royal residence Chateau Ducal and his two great abbeys. Or whilst away the time shopping in the lively pedestrianised streets or eating in a pavement café. Honfleur is a must - among the cobbled streets, harbour and quayside cafes is a wonderful old-world ambience. D-Day reminders include Pegasus Bridge and Ranville British War Cemetery(20min by by car),Arromanches (360 degree cinema, and Mullbery Harbour),Longues sur Mer (the only remaining German artillery battery)Omaha Beach (American War Cemetery) - all are very humbling experiences. Other places of interest include Bayeaux tapestry depicting the story of the Norman Conquest in 1066, William the Conqueror's castle at Falaise, Basilica & home of St Therese at Liseux (second most popular pilgrimage in France), Monet's house and gardens at Giverny.

Travel Information

Dives-sur-Mer is easily accessible by car from all ferry ports, Quistreham (Caen) - 30 min, Le Harve - 1 hour, Boulougne - 2 1/2 hours, Calais - 3 hours. Detailed directions sent on booking. Paris and Disneyland can be reached by train in 3 hours from the station at the entrance to the marina (connection at Trouville/Deauville station for Paris - Gare St Lazare).Regional Airport at Deauville - 30 kms.

Cancellations must be made either in writing or by email, for which a % charge of the total holiday cost may be payable, based on the number of days remaining until your scheduled arrival date; over 56 days - paid deposit only,15– 56 days —50% ,14 days or less—100%. NB. We WILL honour a refund of all, bar the deposit, where we are able to take another booking for the week/s concerned. Should you wish to move your booking to another week, then we will oblige whenever possible.
